A 12minute video covering the fact that this cat did more work in a day than most guys ever do on a project car! Rad progress and as always bucketlist cars! Keep the vids coming

Down and dirty, quick and to the point fix it, don't stare at it but do it. Actually the traction bars bring back the nostalgia of the time. I like what your doing. I can't bounce like you, I have to pick a spot and then spread like a virus through the whole thing and then when I pull the light switch, its running down the road. Way better than me. I wish I still could do this, good therapy for me. I liked doing things with my hands.

Mr. DD, I would really like to see you touch up paint the exterior like you did with the trunk interior. I know it won't be perfect, but the lady in your life will get more compliments for the car if is "kinda pretty"... BUT she should have final say on the project, not some old guy in Nebraska.... I am REALLY impressed on how fast and accurately you are putting it together. I sure helps to have just done the '55. By the way, I was just in Victoria, BC this last weekend and enjoyed the Canadian hospitality...
@DDSpeedShop5 жыл бұрын
haha I'm glad my fellow Canadians were friendly! I'd love to paint it, but it's just not in the budget at the moment. Maybe next year
@johnhansen45505 жыл бұрын
@@DDSpeedShop, I was thinking of you getting a couple of cans of blue stray paint that are "close" to the right color to cover the boo-boo spots and then get one more can of custom mix paint to paint over the "close" off the shelve paint. I do this on a right basis and get decent results. Maybe $30 US investment. I am with you that it is not worth a big investment on a "professional" paint job. You have already done all the hard body work....I painted a '66 Galaxie last year with tractor paint and got best convertible of the show with it. I also painted Porsche 928 with rattle cans and doubled my money on it in 2 weeks. The guy who bought it couldn't believe how good it looked....I give him a could rattle cans for reference. Again congrats on the great driver restoration you are doing! Have you seen Jonathan W's youtube? He and Scott of Coldwarmotors do great inexpensive work like you.

That rear trunk pan is what I need to do most. Mine is destroyed. This helped me a lot. Mine's been sitting in a garage for 20 years and the moldy smell is terrible. Do you ever get that in your cars? If so, how do you get rid of that smell? Lots of work to go on mine but your vids are helping me a lot. Keep up the great work.
