It's an addiction, Carcaine is a hard habit to kick! Today we drive a 6 hour round trip to pick up another new hot rod for the fleet. The drive was long but the hot rod was worth it! What do you think we got?

Damn that 55 is so nice. Please paint the blue and white where needed and you will have a very very pretty 55 on the street with little or no major problems. And you don't need an LS just a nice running small block or big block with some kind of cool tranny and you are off. That'll be a keeper for a while

GREAT buy! Leave it a 4-door and drive it. Amazing how just rattle-canning that right rear quarter blue to match the rest of the blue changed the looks of the whole car! My very first car 58 years ago was a blue/white '55 4-door just like this. 265/3 speed. I've been looking for another one. Anyone got one for sale? All I need is a good complete roller to build.

I am with Daniel on this one. The car looks good as a 4-door. Beautiful color, and nice bones. This one would look better painted up than the ratty patina look. Put a decent interior in it, a big engine and that's a winner. Great score.

I started watching this because of the 4 to 2 door tri-five conversions years ago and I loved the rowdy Challenger and the Biscayne, especially love the black Nomad. Personally, I think that a real world more door daily driver would be a nice change for the channel. Just my 2 cents. PS, keep it 💯 rowdy, make it fun.

I had the exact same 55. I bought it from a paralyzed drag racer. I bought it for the 421 HiPo Pontiac 421 that was just sitting in the engine bay. This was in 1965. I then had a scrap yard tow the 55 away for free. A 4 door tri-5 was worth nothing back then.

I watch your shtuff ALL the time! I showed a 4/2 conversion to my Pops. He watched it (w/commercials) all th way through & ❤ it. I agree with Dani on this one, leave it a Fordor Chevrolet. My Aunt had one probably the same colour as yours was and a friend in (gettin')High School (Class of '77) had a Dark Blue '57 4dr. we'd blaze-up in.

That 55 seems light a pretty solid car. You should make it a 2 door . Put complete new quartes on it. Put a new same color paint job on it with a stroker 373 motor and 4 speed. That car is to nice to hack and part out. That would be a really nice 55 but then again it's not my car .

I love renting the U-Haul trailer. But I can definitely skip the come a-long for getting it onto the trailer 😂 love your winch setup but it's about once every 5 years I need to do it so I can't justify the winch setup.

Barry Gilgen Dan was just wondering now that you are kind of getting settled in why don't you guys go back to Winnipeg and get all of your tools and other parts that you got in those garages and bring it all back to Calgary, looks like you can use some of that stuff to do cars before winter gets there and make it tuff to go get it.
