Shops that close at 8 pm (20:00) is late! Here in Belgium, most shops (except some food stores) usually close at 6 pm (18:00).

Yeah, these Singaporeans expect too much service. And why do they want to make the Japanese work even harder when the working environment in Japan is a problem? And since there are convenience stores everywhere in Japan, why not go there?

I was amazed at the vending machines being everywhere, and being in pristine condition. The sound absorbing screens are on a lot of sites, and there are sound gauges on most sites now. As well as signage apologizing for noise, dust etc. (the best one I saw was 'Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will this building. Sorry. " As for dust, sites wash down the on site roads, and local roads and even have 'wheel washing' pools where trucks drive into to rinse the tyres so they don't track mud off site.

Thanks! The Australian couple … please don’t even get me going on customs at border crossings i used to drive semi trucks and trying to get back into my own country (USA) was ridiculous going into Canada wasn’t bad but the USA customs is terrible

Small dogs in baggage claim room are checking illegal foods, drugs by smell. They work very well. If dog sit down in front of your baggage, you may have illegal things..

Like the billboards at the construction site, they put up notices that consider their surroundings because there are a lot of nervous citizens complaining. Companies are responding in all areas in anticipation of their complaints.

And they do clean up the road near the construction site, even in rural area. It must be a standard practice. 👍🚧

I'm amazed at how similar Australia is to USA airports. They're very strict as well. Couldn't bring any hair care products for my really thick black American hair. One time I lost my ID, and I had to walk through a scanner and was literally smoked with something. I had just turned 18 that day. I got away with it when I flew two days before because I was 17. When I was trying to come back, it was a nightmare trying to prove I wasn't a threat because I didn't have my ID. And I was traveling within the country from one state to another, Miami, Florida to Chicago, Illinois. 😅

Between Cathy, Chris and Shar, they make me miss Japan so much.. Oddest thing when I visited Tokyo was in 2013, there was a arcade that was closed for remodel and they were giving out the prizes to people walking by, which is better then them being trashed
Uh, japan narito made me pour out water and completely go through security again even though just connecting

@porcorosso4330 Japan was my not my destination it was the transfer airport. I went through security in US and Thailand. From what I could tell it didn't matter where you going or comming from that was their policy. So don't get extra water after going through security if passing through Japan.

Nuclear power plants around the world are dumping more radioactive wastewater into the sea than the Fukushima nuclear power plant. You should judge by chemical knowledge.
@dranzart.1959 Жыл бұрын
@@tsdfghjklYou're wrong by saying that discharging radioactive waste isn't hurting anyone or anything because it's changing the ecosystem even now. It's affecting sea life, drinking water, and many other things.
