Thanks maaan. I’ve got the same deck. But I’d been using it & neglected to remove the motor transport screws. This has now been rectified thanks to your most helpful video.

I think they fixed the need to do that on the newer decks. But yes I found out the same way by others videos showing they should either be removed or loosened to let the motor hang free in its rubber isolation bands.

are the platters the same weight? wouldn't it throw off the speed
@TrippinGnome4 жыл бұрын
Hi,! No the acrylic platter at 1.3 kg I believe is lighter than the metal one (I'll have to dig my metal one out and weight it to be sure). It does not throw off the speed, Pro-ject also makes the Esprit model of the Carbon DC turntable which has the acrylic platter by default. The acrylic platter is a very common upgrade for these tables as is changing the stylus from the 2m red to the blue version. The motors in the Carbon DC / Esprit DC and the new Carbon EVO tables are electronically speed controlled so they adjust to meet demands.

What's your impression on pairing the Mani with the 2M Blue?
@TrippinGnome5 жыл бұрын
The Mani made a noticeable difference over my amps built in pre-amp and it seems to work well with the 2m Blue. You do need to make sure all three of the load and gain micro-switches for each channel are set correctly for the cartridge. So far I have never used it with any other cartridges., but am happy with the Schiit!

I'm saving my money for an Audio Technica LP60 Bluetooth record player online soon

I've read some good things about the Audio Technica products!

The Gnome Yeah they're much better than the Crosleys and Victrolas. You should get an Audio Technica LP60 Bluetooth record player

Would 120/220 affect? Or what?
@TrippinGnome5 жыл бұрын
Sorry no idea. Where I am (Canada) power is 120v only. Never tried audio in EU, but Pro-Ject sell EU model version that I would guess work on 220V.

Nice, but here’s the thing. I’ve ordered one, but learned nothing as the salsa music distracted and made your voice as if it was a secondary thing. If using music, please make your voice louder so we all understand what’s happening. It’s a Debut Carbon vidio, not a Salaa video. Just a bit a CC. Thanks man.

Thanks for watching! Yes I agree the backing music was too hot and at same time either my rode lav or zoom recorder was (still is) having periodic dropouts. Made for bad audio.
