I feel bad for Tyrande just this once, I still can't get over her being an ass to Illidan in legion but man...imagine continuously trying to keep everyone safe at the cost of losing your husband, only to lose both your people AND husband. The night elf population was already low pre burning iirc so the population now must be nearly extinct.

Blizzards constant dumping on the Nelfs is what ultimately made me stop, and seeing how they keep writing Malfurion out of the story is so aggravating. They've done nothing but ruin his character since introducing him to WoW, they might as well kill him since they don't know how to write him into the story properly.

I really hope after all this is said and done she isn’t thrown away back to Ardenweald forever. That would just be depressing. Hopefully with the new World Tree being bound to Ardenweald and the Dream it allows her to stay while switching back with Malfurion. Waiting years for her to come back then just to be abandoned by the devs forever bums me out… Guess we’ll see.

Nah man they need to give Malfurion time to shine, they do nothing but write him out of the story or shit on him since introducing him to WoW. He's one of the most powerful beings in Azeroth, yet they can't let him be great because of how powerful he actually is, so they constantly find ways to write him out making him useless.

You guys might not know this but the questline is already revealed, Ysera is coming only to make a cameo. Merithra is the new Dreamer. And her mother named Merithra herself as her successor. They made a temporary bind change with Malfurion in Shadowlands to get Ysera to help Merithra. I don't know when and where Malfurion will be back and Ysera will go back. All I know is Winter Queen is unwilling to consider let Ysera go. Not because she can't for some reason, she's just too attached to things, you'll see.

@@bugzykek I wasn't a gift. Ysera is a powerful nature agent, and Ardenweald rules clearly state that once a nature agent gets powerful enough in its pod, it gets to send back in life. Like many times Ursoc did. Like loas did. She didn't come in as a resident soul, she was also in a pod to return to life, only difference is there were anima shortage, and WQ used her essence to empower her. She's just lording that over her. Elune gives, her effing sister clings to things. As opposite as life and death. F death.

@@bamsbeyrek9728 Not exactly, Ysera is forever bound to Ardenweald now because she was reborn within Ardenweald. Like the manner of her rebirth is not usually how that functions, and on top of that she has an essence of the Winter Queen in her, since she personally saw to Ysera's rebirth. There only making a temporary switch so Ysera can help, while Malfurion takes her place to watch over the tree. But he'll likely return in the next xpac when we see the new tree.
