I don't know if you have ever seen forgeworld, gamesworkshops heavy resin sub Department. For years I would have to say almost decades they have been making very large resin models to be played in 40K. And they used to have massive Hive Tyrant and even a model called the Dimachaeron which was almost on par as a same size as a small titan. The problem was that a lot of people were complaining about the size and rules as being too overpowered. For years that sub department has been making very large models and tearing its that hardly anybody talks about.

I am aware of the Forgeworld models and ya GW seems to keep nerfing them to oblivion. Dimachaerons i would see in battle reports all the time in 8th and 9th edition, but once they nerfed monster mash I dont see them anymore. Their point values got nerfed. Haven't seen a Harridan since 8th. Some BR's ive seen guys use Hierophant's for 10k point army's or something for fun, but not a 2k battle. But you are right - they have had the large kits before.
