Been watching your videos with interest, even bought myself a Roadie here in Northern Ireland, in the last month, an addictive little car! That was crap luck on the tyre and rim damage, get the scene of the pothole photographed along with your damage and take it to your local authority responsible for road maintenance, you should be able to get recompense.
