Small info: cotton is 1.5 value, same as potatoes. Brocolli and pineapples are 3, for reference. Only crops of value higher or equal to 3 can trigger high tear raids.

For your base, and more generally your whole world, you could do a monorail/dualrail/whateverrail that goes to places you want. you could equip it with modules to grab caged farmers, transport food crates, storage, etc for exemple, you could do a network linking the your base, the packing stations, the farmer, amber areas, chemical plant, warehouse, boss biome, starting area, scrap city, and does the entire tour of the map (just some ideas) You can even do it with controllers to make it fuel free securised travel !

Just saying... it takes about four stacks of materials to build up to the top of a 4-floor warehouse. Still need a key to get in and loot is on the top floor, so no dying 8+ times, but that’s probably cheating. Just throwing that out there if you need ramps, metal, or even more poles for base building. Love your videos man!

You should change your base to be a medical city make the castle on the water with a draw bridge and build the city on the land, there could be the market place with all your fruits a farm for farming and a hotel when your friends come to play, and maybe a butcher shop to keep your cows and maybe they will stay inside. You should definitely build a walkway/bridge from the U to the farm (perhaps even extend the whole rampart over the water back to the base), as well as stairs/an elevator between floors, just for immersions sake. Sure you can jump, swim and toilet everywhere, so might be low priority...
