Yes and no, there's no ragdolls when raids start so why would it lag? Also, it's just several stiff parts on ball joints, no reason for lag. Overall you hypothesis is very flawed, it may be the pathing ai, dynamic lighting on it, or just a bug not on stack overflow. Hypothesis: you missed that joke.

Looking at when the tree cutter stopped cutting. It seemed that the tree hit the numbs where the blades are connected to the bearings. So it is not unreasonable to think that the saw blades have two separate hitboxes with the middle not having a hurtbox and the teeth on the blade does.

@@callumcoombs7579 Battlements is the combination of merlons (the pegs) and crenels (the gaps) and a walkway behind them (as T. Cronenberg has also pointed out below). (So a Crenelated battlement, or crenellations, is the typical medieval castle look in defensive wall.) Now with an overhang like that, Scrapman could use some machicolations as well. edit: 10:19 ,nvm, he is using those.

@@evanherriges4042 it could be a glitch since the containers are interacting objects too. I told you, this was my experience. When I took off the the container from my vehicle, the reliablity increased from about 40% to 95%.

First of all, a big Thank You for the mention in yesterday's video:) Defensive suggestion...what if your bouncy floor was 9x9 blocks on high speed pistons, triggered by a sensor for each piston. Launch the haybots and greenies high into the air so they get destroyed when they land. Just a thought:)

The pegs are called *crenelations,* consisting of *crenels* (the spaces) and *merlons* (the squares). The walkway behind them is called an *allure* or wall-walk, and all of it together is called a *battlement.* The walls are usually made of *ashlar,* defined by castlewales.com as "blocks of smooth squared stone of any kind". The outside fortified wall of the castle is called an *enceinte* (pronounced "ayn-seen-tay), but it is only called this if it wraps all the way around the castle.

20:15 minutes... The concrete beam going from the castle wall to the ramps is your issue (in the center). If you disconnect the concrete block right where they meet, should solve your issue.

BeasterKing07 the remote control cars were made with a glitch involving 2 bearings in a line. The pistons now are still connected to the side though so taking out the concrete would be fine

On the Tree Harvester, I think the twin blades should look like this 🔼 instead of like this 🔽. The point of the V needs to be up not down, then SM would be using the blade edge instead of the blade side and should chop up them trees better. 😁

I tried to make one of those vertical tree harvesters before your episode and I ran into the same issue with branches. I wound up giving up on the vertical design altogether and made a version that cuts the tree down and then sucks it into a saw with a bunch of wheels. I’m glad to see you got it working.

ScrapMan, there is a trip for piston that not many people know about. If you use a single piston at max speed a 1 block distance of push(without a timer, logic, etc) the piston will push and pull very quicly and it never stops. I recomend ir for your ragdoll trampolim.

I think the issue you’re running into has to do with the wall being too big. One of the other guys saw a similar issue with a door. Try setting it up as a multiple platforms, instead of just one.

I made an adjustment list: -place front catwalk higher; -place saw blades on he vehicle floor (if placed higher greenies can swim right to the side of the farm); -have multiple sections of boucy floor -place longer ramps on higher places (can be divided by bouncy floor sections) I think that's all!

So I went back to your first bouncy castle that you made, now I don't know if this would make a difference or not, but your piston was facing up instead of down. So try flipping your piston so that the top of it is on the mesh. I think the pistons don't work as well when they are in the configuration that you have. Keep up the great work!!

Welcome to the cooking show Today we will be learning how to make cookies Ingredients for 12 cookies ½ cup granulated sugar ¾ cup brown sugar, packed 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup unsalted butter, melted 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour½ teaspoon baking soda 4 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate chunks 4 oz dark chocolate chunk, or your preference Preparation In a large bowl, whisk together the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste forms with no lumps. The piston jamming glitch happened to me too when I built the hammer for my farm. The solution to it is to place the piston's base on the non moving structure (your base) and the mesh floor connected to the head of the pistons (you will have to make it on the lift, then weld it to the base).

For your tree cutter, you should rotate the saw so that they are pointing up and cutting into the tree instead of down. That might help a little with the inconsistency

You should paint the castle when its done. Also you should put water canons on it so it could stun haybots. I think the water canons would be much better under the lip of the castle shooting down rather than the bouncy floor. It wouldn't stun the greenies but they aren't much of a problem anyway and it would cause less lag. You could even put spud guns as well to beat the greenies.

You should try making a mountable spud gun and aim it at a tier 3 metal block in the bouncy castle. Then, as you turn the switch on, the spud gun will shoot the block and update the collisions of the bouncy castle.

Suggestions: 1. Put the bouncy net into sections AND cut holes in it (1x1 holes not 4x4) 2. Build the bouncy net further out (so it has a longer chance to rag doll before the haybots reach your wall & if a boss does spawn there’s a chance it will rag doll it) 3. Make your platform (where you shoot down) higher by a few blocks 4. Makes some fog lights Hope you like my suggestions :)

I think your bouncy floor is still attached to 2 pistons only, outside ones didn't weld to the bottom support ( 25:53 , 26:05 ). It's happening with creations when they are connected to the ground like your farm. To weld it with other pistons, you need to completely separate it from you base with 1 layer of concrete, weld it on the lift, and then you can attach it back to your base.

I have 3 suggestions for improvement on your base: 1. Make a piston on a toilet to get in your base. 2. Instead of disassembling your entire dock, cut 2 slices where it connects to land and use the weld tool to reconnect it to higher **ground** 3. Separate the bouncy castle bit into three sections to distribute the weight.

You should try and put a resource collector on the other side of the wall connected to a few pistons that sweeps near the bounce pad to collect haybot arms. The haybot arm is what jammed the bounce pad. The time it got stuck was 24:37. Like so scrapman notices

I've heard the square parts on the top of castles be called numerous things depending on where you are located. Some of the names for them I've heard are Merlons, Bastions, Crenelations, and I'm sure there are more names for them for different cultures

When the bouncer mysteriously started moving, it was because you crouched. That creates a downward force which causes the physics to start working. You can do the same thing with a controller spinning a block on a bearing

To fix the issue of the bounce pad. You could divide them up where the pistons work separate multiple small loads then one big load. But it will be more expensive.

Hey scrapman, you could make lika a garage for your mining and tree harvesting vehicles when you can leave your vehicle there and some refinery bots will take the material bars out of your containers. So you get a super cool unloading system and you don't have to remove and replace the containers every time you go harvesting

@ScrapMan The "wall pegs" are called Crenelations, and that hole you have in the floor of the battlement walkway is called a "Murder Hole" which is fitting considering what you intend to do with it :D

The juts on castle walls are called Merlons. The spaces that are open are called Crenels. A set of merlon-crenel-merlon are called crenellations. So crenellations and machicolations.

Back in days of yore, minecraft used to lose your fenced in mobs. Turns out that when a chunk unloaded with a mob kind of clipped into the fence or the wall, when the chunk reloaded, the mobs saved location would have it try to spawn in the block with the fence or the wall, and subsequently the mob would instead spawn next to the block with the wall, which might sometimes be inside your fence or outside. The answer was, a 2 block or 2 fence thick wall. Perhaps the same is happening to the cows and the answer is a thicker walled pen. Also i think your lag is being generated by your bouncy castle. Ragdolled mobs are generating physics processes. You will get framerate drops as well if you have multiple mobs tumbling down a mountainside.
