My updates worked fine in the end. Some good changes in this one with the volume controls and source shortcut. And my first phone call out using Siri the recipient was able to hear me no issues with out doing any extra steps using Shockwave Mesh 👍🏻🇦🇺

hello jay, I installed the soundstream v2 today. I have a CVO Street Glide (2015) with factory amplifier and 4 factory speakers. Unfortunately the sound is very quiet and sounds bad. As a test, I connected the original Harley radio. so everything is normal. The radio was delivered with the iDatalink Maestro EPS-MRR Universal, which I of course also connected. do you have an idea what it could be? Greetings from germany.

I have a new V2 in the box that I had purchased a month ago. Should I go ahead and install it and then to the update? Any reason to do anything else before the install?

Install the radio as usual and do the update once installed

Hey Jay, I have the sound stream reserve radio for my 2007 street glide and I purchased it from you as soon as they was first released back in April I believe. I was wondering if there’s any new updates for that radio also? I’ve noticed there no way to control the volume of the GPS voice unless it’s speaking and you gotta be quick to turn it up before it stops talking and a few other things. I didn’t know if this video was for ALL sound stream radios or just the one for 14+

There are no new updates for your radio, this video is specific to the v2 radio. Gps voice is in your phone and can be adjusted on the settings of your phone or while speaking using the radio volume controls

Jay does the update include fix the FM AM radio. Because my antenna and everything is connected. With a short antenna. Static still in the radio

@@newmoney8128 there is no am / fm issue in the radio to fix, you need a factory style mast antenna, short antennas do not work well and hidden antennas are useless

By some reason my v2 is not updating to this version. Did a summer update with no problem but this one doesn't work for me. It shows an updates available and when i click "All updates" it did and MCU update then reloads then i see black but backlit screen and nothing further for several hours. So i took a risk and switch it off and on. Unit came back with a ssytem screen with a message "no upgrade file available" and then i see MCU version is current and software is still old. And i can use an update option again where it shown both updates available and does the update again with the same result - MCI pass then reboot and blank screen with nothing happen. Have used several different drives with no luck. Looks like the BIN file is somehow broken or something in the archive although i see it is the same size as yours shown in the video. Any suggestions?

Does the V2 use the stock back bone wiring harness to the saddlebag speakers. Does that have to be enabled like the stock radio has to be flashed to use the fader and enable the rear speakers.

You never have to flash an option again after replacing the stock radio, all factory speaker wiring is active

An absolute dumb question I’m guessing. I bought a new PNY 64 3.0 USB that states it is bckword compatible. I have down loaded the update (PC Windows 10) 3 times trying to get the update to work. I am extracting the zip to the drive with the flash drive. I get 3 lines. The first says system file info, the second the update, when I click on it, it shows MCU 98kb, and the 3rd is the bin file. When I try uploading the update it states file not found. I have deleted each download every time so there Is only one on my computer. Also. I have never done an update prior to this one. Ideas? Go buy a sandisk?

Not sure if you got it sorted but I had all sorts of issues as well before I just went to bestbuy and bought what they suggested. I had tons of USB sticks on hand (Either too large or just some no-name brand). I couldn't get them to work at all. Now, I have everything up and running with no issues. Bought a Sandisk 16GB and it went first try.
