I use submersible lights in all my tanks, but I attach them to the lids so the light is completely ng from above. I personally don't like to see the light reflecting off the surface of the water, so I prefer the old style black plastic lids on all tanks.

What lights do you use for your low light tanks?

I use submersible lights attached to the underside of the lids. I don't care for light reflecting off the surface of the tank water.
