You can see by the time they mature they shouldn't be kept together. The badly damaged fins says it all.

Hey man, love your videos. I just feel compelled to mention to you that if you haven't done so please please please remove all the male Bettas from your main tank and keep them in their own separate containers. I'm sure your perfectly aware that males will fight each other(hence their name Siamese fighting fish). They will usually do this until one is dead. Surprisingly this also applies to siblings. After like the 2 month point they have to be separated. Ive noticed some of the males in your tank have tattered fins, that's only gonna get worse until eventually you will wake up to dead fish. I would hate to see this happen to you as you've really got some beautiful fish you've raised so far. This is why breeding Bettas is really tricky unless that's your goal. It's very space and labor intensive. Anyways sorry about the long post I just want to see you succeed with this Im a subscriber of yours as well as a fellow fish gaurdian myself. Good luck

@KamakuraBetta Жыл бұрын
It is better to separate the small ones from the large ones. Because the big ones are dominant and snatch the food from the small ones. If the small ones are separated, they have a good chance of growing quickly and healthily.
@greenshark66672 жыл бұрын
Are you supposed to sell your bettas when you have so many, or do you keep all of them? And can you put the parents with the bettas when they’re fully grown?
@julianffan2 жыл бұрын
If he kept all of them the males would all need separate tanks, which would be extremely labour and resource intensive to care for, especially if the tanks are a humane size and level of enrichment. So no, you can’t really keep this many unless you’re very rich and have a lot of spare time and space. Also the tank in the video is probably not large enough even for just the females, so they would need an upgrade to a larger tank.

you should use water mixed with Terminalia catappa leaves when they are young or they have changed color from red blue to white
@elmachogato43992 жыл бұрын
Because water mixed with Terminalia catappa can make the pH of the water stable and anti-bacterial and make the color of the fish good and can make the price of fish more expensive, that's how the petshop makes betta fish with good color and makes the price expensive

Unless you have a big tank where males have enough room to have their own territory, only one male should be kept in a community of females or other fish. You know the fish are healthy and not stressed when their fins grow out and don't look jagged from fighting and nipping.

@maazvlogs21322 жыл бұрын
Maybe you should try your male with another female if then too the case is same then it means your male betta isn't a quality breeder, and one more thing breeding betta is a process which requires amount of patience, It was my third attempt of betta breeding which went successfully
