The Berzerker Potion gives you an increase in combat and morale statistics between approximately 15 - 45sec, the elixir heals you in combat approximately 20hp, they are used with the Number Pad on the keyboard, The berzerker potion with the "8" and the elixir with the "5" (I forgot to mention that the berserker potion also makes you immortal for those seconds)

Keep this in mind - once you get over 4 combined Companions, Family Members, or Allied Lords/Ladies in your force, and you decide to make units 5, 6, 7, and 8, make sure that the Unit Captains, as it were, are placed in the Unit Captain square, not the Hero Unit square. Basically, from pulling names out of myth, legend, and fiction, let's say that you have Robin Hood - a top notch Longbow user of legend, and you somehow got Etienne Navarre from Ladyhawke, who, among other things, is really good with a crossbow, and both are in your army. Now, let's say that you got a decent mixture of Longbowmen and Crossbowmen. Since Robin Hood is such a fantastic Longbow User, he can make quite the impact upon other users of the Longbow, but that doesn't help those using the Crossbow. This is were Navarre comes into play, by making him a Unit Captain for a group comprised of, mostly, Crossbow users. Now, to select them, you need to make the other Archery group focus on those with shields - 8 out of 11 foot crossbow troops use shields (2 Hired/Elite crossbow Mercenaries, 2 Sword Sister, 2 Vlandia, 2 Empire) while those that don't (1 Sword Sister, 2 Vlandian) are going to be stuck with Robin until they get Shields. Now, to make sure that Navarre is Leading the Crossbows, and not merely in the same unit as them, you *need* to place his image in the square that's on the Right side of the Unit Square, or else he's just merely in the unit, and the Crossbow users do not benefit from any of the perks that Navarre might have otherwise given them.

If you are building a foot based army , you will definitely need range troops , Shields come in handy on foot especially on your back against cavalry , Coming from behind you 😂
