@@BoredDior Yeah, character alts are not unheard of. That said, I've never heard of using different voice actors for the same character, in the same language, for the same game. (Unless there is a significant age gap, or the original VA is no longer a part of the team, or something like that.)

Camu and Kamui in PGR are technically lore wise the same person, but at different instances in time. And both of them are playable. Then you look at Honkai 3rd and that doesn’t need an explanation. Point is, they can be the same person and still both be playable

2 different VA's. Scar on lip isn't on the character scar. Their tacet discord marks are in slightly different places and they look differently. (The peaks at the end of the mark are different.) They aren't the same. If they were I'd be shocked.

Firstly tacet marks aren’t different for everyone and around the time geshu Lin was the general scar already existed, and there is no way Kuro would just throw away geshu Lin like that and make them into one cause kuro gotta get that bag 💰 Yk?

I mean pretty much every playable characters have different echo marks whether it's the location or the size(and if you look at both Scar and Geshu, they are almost identical in location and size).How did you know Scar existed back then because all information about Geshu Lin was from the past when Jiyan was just a normal soldier and there was no info regarding Scar in that preview too. And second they can still release multiple version of same characters like in PGR and other hoyoverse games(they don't have to go with the Genshin route with One character gets one version of them in game). Although it's the most absurd theory but somehow makes sense(at least to me😂😂)

I don't think Geshulin is Scar because their eye shapes look different. Even though they both have tacet marks on their necks, if you look closer the marks are different. Geshu has more star diamond shapes while Scar's are thicker and have more waves If tacets marks cannot be on the same place on different resonators than either Scar is either a shadow or mirror of Geshulin but definitely not him

I was about to agree but the last part is contradicting to each other, the mindset of Geshulin and Scar is completely different. Like by far. - Geshulin wants to stop the lament no matter what it cost either [losing midnight ranger] or [losing friends, foes and family] no matter what happen, his desire to get rid the Tacet Discord, Threnodian, Overthrax is immaculately insane, his objective and goal to defeat the enemy is giving me Kawaki vibe, only the mindset but not the characteristics because Kawaki is a bit selfish and fraud while Geshulin is not, but interms of Objectives, Goals and Plan, both of them is so eager to fulfill the goal no matter what. - (On the other hand) Scar mindset is different, Scar used to be the Black Lamb in the story but along the line, he became the Sheppard. He doesn’t want to stop the Lament, he is the one who causing it, Phrolova has an ability to summon Tacet Discord and also she is the cause of reviving the Threnodian which is the dreamless, you can see her showing up before the Threnodian and Overthrax got revived and you can also see her in the background when Rover and Jiyan finally defeated the Dreamless. Now i think about it, i think Scar is more like Madara to me because Madara and Scar do care about other people before, but due to evil of this world, they become one, Madara and Scar wants to use the power of enemy and changes the shape of the world into their selfish desire, to a world that they called “Paradise” but in their own way. So what im trying to say is Geshulin and Scar may have a similarity before because both of them want to stop the Lament (if Scar used to be member of blackshore) but Scar changes his desire and become the enemy he disguise himself to lure other sheep into his trap, manipulating them so he will receive a praise that look like he is the Savior but he’s not and then fall into the darkside while Geshulin (even his fanthom) is the one who courage Jiyan to push his limit as a Commander General to stop the Threnodian (this is the reason why you shouldn’t skip dialogue) Geshulin even stated that “Are you gonna stay here waiting for Retroact Rain to stop just because of some panthom?” Indicating that he is pushing Jiyan to be brave and act like a Real General and set a side the emotions and feeling for the death of fallen soldier. So Geshulin desire is to stop the Lament while Scar and Phrolova keep reviving the Threnodian, Overthrax and take advantage of the Lament to push their agenda.

Good summary. One area i'd say differently is your comparisons. Geshulin is more like Kawaki over Boruto. Bc Kawaki is so obsessed with killing the Ootsuki that he is willing to toss away every bond he has to acheive that goal. He is even crazy enough to off himself in the end bc he is also technically part Ootsuki. In that, it is similar to Geshulin's hate towards TD's. Bc Geshulin is also willing to sacrifice anything in order to kill them all. Both are consumed & blinded by their hate. Scar is probably closer to Code. In the way Code worships the Ootsuki & wants them to reign supreme, Scar also wants to create a world where the Lament happens & TD's are on top. The similarities stop there though as Code is more like a serious & religious zealot & Scar is more like a crazy & happy lover of chaos.

@@danielw.2456 Oh yeah, that’s one way to go too, i only input Boruto characteristics to Geshulin because he is hatred by friend and sees him as a villain while Boruto is so focused to his objective but yea, that’s also correct too, i forgot that. Yea he is more like Kawaki because of how driven his goal to get rid the enemy and he will not waver eventho it’ll cost the life of his friend and family. @@danielw.2456 I think its pretty apparent that Scar and rest of the Fracsidus don't want "TDs on top", they want to live together with them, to the point where the Lament just becomes part of life. And to do that you pretty much have to overthrow all authority and implant TD tissue into all living humans, since those who survive the procedure, like the Fracsidus members - are no longer attacked by TDs, they're recognized as their own by the TDs. It's all about joining together with someone you can't beat and learning to live with them. TDs aren't "evil" per se, they just instinctively seek to merge with anyone whose frequencies aren't discordant like theirs.

geshulin has a small cut mark on his lips, which scar dont have. A new cut can appear But the old cut wont disappear . I doubt they are same person, maybe they are brothers and after lin vanished scar decided to go down a different path.

Jiyan's covers almost all of his back, meanwhile Jinhsi's is smaller, like most of the other characters. Jiyan's is a different shape. Scar and Geshu Lin have the exact same tacet mark, no differences in size or placement. So I kinda fail to see your point :/

About the tacet mark they can share jinshi & jiyan both of their marks are on their back, not to mention that scar uses cards and we saw that while genshu uses claymore and we saw that in jiyans trailer

Two must pulls in one? Humans have only so many places where you can have a tacet mark. So two out of maybe millions is not that groundbreaking 😅 And since Scar and Geshu Lin are both very very awaited and would potentially make a lot of people pull for both banners… = profits… it’s very unlikely Kuro would pull a Firefly and delete one whole character by making it just an mecha outfit. Or in this case an earlier version.
