I can’t wait for Overbridge for DT2! I hope that it will be soon implemented. On Elektronauts under the topic about the leak of the new gear Elektron stuff has responded that they are working on few instruments at the moment but the most important thing that was written that the Overbridge is coming really soon!

@@happylittlesynth because it's ridiculous that a sampler released in 2024, for $1,000 USD doesn't have this basic function that has been available on samplers since the 1980s. There's no excuse. Samplers at a fraction of the price point offer this basic function. I don't want to hear any excuses about crossover with the octatrack or any other nonsense justification elektron fan-boys try to throw at me, there is no excuse. I own several machines from elektron, but I refuse to buy this box until it can at least have a feature set that isn't outmatched by a freaking phone app.

I mentioned all this in my comment, which you are either unable to read or unable to comprehend. I also stated that I own many elektron devices. I wish I could say nice try, but that was a sad attempt.

Excellent!!! , but I don't think that is the slice update everyone has been asking for, far too complicated just give us precise editing of slices and multiple ways of slicing. The last thing they should do is make it more convoluted.

I desperately long for different types of reverb. Even with all the settings on the reverb page, it always has a certain character that is inescapable. There's a tail regardless of how short the decay time is.

Thats kinda inevitable with reverb as its a bunch of reflections/echoes. But I agree to a point, there could be more reverb types, and in fact - more fx.

what would be cool on the DT2 is being able to sample direct to a track and have it loop it. so basically having baby pickup machines from the octatrack. i would sell my octatrack in a heart beat for that because i bought the octa to be the worlds most expensive guitar looper

Right now, what I badly need for Digitakt 2 is overbridge. I'm tired of having to use another audio interface to record in Logic Pro.

Yep defo keen for overbridge but in the interim you can record from the DT2 to logic using the aggregate feature. Takes me about 10 mins for me to record 16 bars of the different tracks into logic. Sounds sweet as an interface too

On the DT2 I’d love faster trig rates. Instead of 80, maybe 160 or even 320. Also, the introduction of pitch-bend trigs with bend length and fixed bend intervals 3rd’s, 5th’s and Octave, and pitch-bend peak, and decay parameters. Microgranny style granular machine would be nice too.. 😅

These would all be great to see. Obv proper slicing is my number one DT2 feature add. Regarding trig modes, I would love to see an option to use trigs to modify the existing sequence, rather than play new trigs into it. Like, if using a Velocity mod, any recorded steps of that track would play at a different velocity while held down. Nice way of creating velocity variations for performance, and especially important given the lack of velocity sensitivity. Since the Mod feature was introduced with Syntakt, this has always seemed like a huge missed opportunity to me.
