KO2 on it's own. adding vocals is rather impossible right now as you can't sample and have your base track playing for timing/pitch reference of which you are singing to. same with sampling audio instruments like guitar, bass etc. you have to sample it disconnected from the track.. which has to be STOPPED/SILENT. Right now the basic workaround is having a metronome (from a phone app) playing in your ear for a bpm guide as you sample in the the KO2 or export the current state of your track from your ko2 over to your phone and play it in your ear as a guide track.

Haven't had time to dig inti the Microcosm yet, there may be some overlap, but I think Microcosms glitch & ambient aspect is much more in-depth.

Hey! I only had a short time to play around yesterday, but I agree. It's very logical and simple in its layout, which is a plus. A good all in one bettermaker :) In terms of ambient music one downside may be that delay and reverb are mutually exclusive, but overall it's really nice!

Yes, to record into the computer you need an interface. There are other samplers that have audio interfaces built in already though, if that interests you more.
