That high contrast mode seems so good for bossing/not missclicking It does worry me abit regarding botting as they can just code it click colours

only reason i ever played runescape was for the pvm. necromancy effectively killed pvm in the game, but even before that the cb was going in the wrong direction (switch scape issues). it's a shame since there really isn't any other game out there that has as much bossing content.

The seasonal events is blown out of proportion. We need content and lore quest updates first, then seasonal events. Otherwise its seasonal events game with the theme of runescape

Hi, complete beginner here, I'm trying to get into runescape 3 after finishing my latest OSRS run, but I'm stuck on the tutorial. Whenever I try and drag food to the action bar during the tutorial part, it just tells me I can't eat food at full HP. I assume I'm doing some basic interface error, can anyone help?

Make sure the action bar is unlocked. There is a small lock button on it you can press

In my personal opinion I think the reason for the decline all over again has to do with the world economy and the general inflation which is causing people to work more to afford the bills.

been playing for 20 years. multiple 99s, tons of quests done, most skills are at least 80 something if not in the 90s. and the only reason is because it lets me log in and claim free xp along with my normal play. ive had a membership for years. havent even logged in since last october. most of us have lost the drive to grind for 1000 hours to max a few skills out and for what? to grind a boss that his been hit by bots so many times the loot is worth a few 100k when it started at the 50m mark? or maybe to get a new cape that does almost exactly the same as the last cape but with a special teleport? the game is dead being propped up by MTX... its because they are greedy. they have lost the drive to make a fun game and made it pay to win and so easy you only need to log in to rank up. 17k average players? i just checked the stats for a few sites and the consensus across them all was about 2.5k DAILY players with around 15k WEEKLY log ins. looking at OSRS its about 1.5k DAILY with around 25k WEEKLY. this is a far cry from the acclaimed 1million or so both games show from other websites using social media flags as markers. which means its talked about way more than played. and out of those player counts how many are bots? it makes me really sad to give up on this game after so many years. ive even tried to get back into OSRS but i cant warrant spending 10k hours on this game again. the grind is too long for people who have lives and families. maybe one day RS3 will remove MTX and try to make the game worth playing again. for now ill just watch other people play and keep up with the game as it updates to see if they care enough to try and bring us back.

You know the player count is literally listed on the site, right? That's the current online players. 110k or so on average, with 10-20k of that on RS3 and the rest on OSRS.

@@SynthhInHD Pretty sure there are separate numbers. Had both homepages up and refreshed them at the same time. OSRS around 117k and RS3 around 136k.

IMO sounds like you didn't play much of the game at all. In 20 years don't have max? Or more than 2-3m in all non 99s? Not sure if you are making a point about the past year or so of lack of content but doesn't seem related to your situation imo.

@@zeldapro18 I knew there were dumb people in this world, but not on this scale. I mean, how can you really not understand something so simple? Of course it's two different numbers, but runescape homepage list the overall number of players, which includes old-school too. When you see the number of player listed on old-school, it's only old-school players and not both combined. So that means, with your number, osrs has 117k players and rs3 only has 19k players and combined it's 136k total runescape players. You can even confirm this with looking at the total players on each world for retale and odlschoole.

i stopped playing about a year ago. Ive been a devoted player not a big bosser but thats all the game is now boss boss boss. If your not a bosser you cant really make the gp sadly

RS3 is a dead shit game and it got worse with their 1bill and cape treasure chest mtx. OSRS is literally better in almost everything except for the run energy, RS3 has better run energy system and that's it lol. OSRS is better and it has more content creators and youtubers that make S+ challenging and competition videos and soon Gielenor Games Seaosn 4 by Soup is coming.

How old are you to treat this like it’s some political race? They both different games and people can’t get over it. If you don’t like it, don’t play it pretty simple.

@@TFDowned This is nothing political. It's just comparing games because it's both RS and made by Jagex which is 100% perfectly fine. That's how games get better. Competition breeds excellence which Jagex and RS3 don't understand and you don't understand I guess. It's like comparing WoW vs FF14 or ESO vs GW2. Very common. Yes both have pros and cons but it's a pure fact that OSRS has way more pros then cons and RS3 has way more cons then pros. I hate this notion of thinking that you shouldn't critisize a game if you don't like it like you're saying. That's how you get a bad game.

@@TFDowned Well I did say RS3 has better run energy system lol. You want another constructive criticism that's true? You don't have to leave the grand exchange to get max 99 skills because you can just use proteans, lamps and stars because I've seen people do that in the game. RS3 has turned into a AFK game now.
