Scrapman: builds giant contraption to pick up trees, grind them, and refine them. Tons of resources and bugs. Z -throws down a square frame of cheap blocks, sticks 8 saws on it, works flawlessly.

You could use the small metal wheels instead of small tires, they have the same grip as large tires and weigh less (find around warehouses)

I have used my harvesting vehicle in ember forests a lot. You might need to cut higher on the tree, or maybe the blades aren't fast enough for it. I use a scrap engine to power my blades seperate.

fastest tool to harvest ember is shotgun. close up each tree take one shot.

Did space engineers beat you? You can just put a layer of conveyors over the cargo containers; though you've probably already disassembled the whole thing :)
