since the guns do not need to rotate around turret style, use Ramps on either side with the tips well ahead of the spud muzzles to build up a buffer that will prevent bots from reaching the guns. that would allow full protection on the sides, roof and rear which could be covered by Saws. a wide stance will make the vehicle essentially tip proof with lots of tires hidden behind armored skirting so they can't be hit either. extra seat or two would allow other Scrappers to ride Shotgun with their Spudguns for added firepower. don't forget the Refinery Trailer to pick up all the tasty bitz!!

Gatling barrels shoot once per rotation. Shoot at top of rotation will use less ammo and more accurate.

To build a tank I can recommend Tier 3 metal. For the mountable spud gun gatling gun instead of making all 4 shoot, you can make it to shoot one at a time as a regular gatling gun. every time a cannon gets at the top will shoot. This might save on spud ammo. Just need to crank the speed. Also the mountable spud gun is destructible.

I think that two spud guns shooting would make more sense because it still is shooting a lot but it saves spuds. (You otherwise will constantly be running out of spuds.)

Hey to fix that rotating back problem put a and gate on there hook the sensors to the and gate and the switch then put the gate to the spud and your good to go 👍

Inspired by your gun design I built one of my own but I did it a bit differently. I use a gas engine(set to lowest) with a switch to spin the guns and a piston(set to fastest) activated by a button to move forward a block to trigger the sensors. That way the guns are primed(spinning) while the switch is on and they fire only when I press the button. Instant tater shower. With only two guns I empty a stack in 9 sec with the guns firing only once per rotation. At the speed the guns are rotating it takes half a revolution for the shot to actually be fired. The sensors are triggered at 12 o'clock and the tater exits the gun at 6. I will change this so that the shot happens at 12 instead, this way the guns will fire while they are exposed above the defense that will hide the mechanism. Upgraded with 4 guns I predict a full ammo box can be emptied in 22-23 seconds Great fun, now I need to mount this on my ride. 👍 Edit: As I was checking my spelling I thought of an other vehicule based weapon configuration, a wall of guns in front, like a massive hood size shotgun. Low rate of fire but 30+ spuds in one shot. Lets bring them bosses LOL

Should probably limit it to 2 shots at a time or you will seriously eat up ammo. Or maybe place a block on a short piston so you can engage 2-shot or 3-shot mode? Or go all out and do 2 pistons for 1-2-3 shot modes.

Use tier 3 metal to protect your spud gun, tier 3 metal is indestructible too but not to big guys like ramps. And you should just use 1 or 2 spudgun that shoots 😂😁

Can you put a glass ceiling over the farm? If you do that and add ramps to either side then you'll get used to using the back side for entering and leaving instead of constantly trying to jump out the side or front
