Is there a frame sheet between the foam backpad and the concealment pocket on any of these or is it just molded foam, then your weapon and so on? Im wondering how that feels having the shape of the holster and mag against your back with the addition if a ballistic panel, laptop, and other weight against that.

I think the Elite Survival Systems stuff gets relatively unnoticed for how good it is. I tried several other options before finding their bag that can hold a 9 inch SBR with the stock collapses. I’ve since moved to a smaller one of them that holds a PS90 SBR without issue. The nice thing about them is they still have padded compartments for a laptop in addition to the firearm compartments.

The DeadMessenger compared to the commuter 2.0 sling and see how they carry comfortably when running or moving steep as well as pulling them around to draw your weapon... what works and not... would be great to see! Always felt sling bags gets uncomfortable when they get a little heavy... but if VertX improved them perhaps there is a way to carry a sling/messenger bag more comfortably today!? Thanks!

I have the same sickness. It also extends into old tins and Cigar boxes. Don't know why I need them but I keep buying them. I think I like second pack better. I am 6 foot 2 and 265 pounds and it looks like it would be better for my large shoulders . Ill check them out and definitely use the code.

Its the same exact layout as before, they just updated/improved some materials, changed the back from mesh to molded, and removed the badging on the face. All compartments are the same

It might not be quite what it's designed for, but how would the Ready 2.0 hold up for backpacking and light hiking? Like, if I'm traveling and and using this as my EDC bag, but there are some hikes planned for the trip could I flex this into a backpacking role and save myself from bringing two packs?

As someone who has yet to build an AR Pistol, what's the legality on conceal carry with them? Can you keep one in a daily bag? (Provided your in an area you can regularly carry there) Is there a difference between an AR pistol and a traditional handgun? (legally)

My only problem with Vertx bags.....the water bottle pockets are small and tight. I don’t see how your getting a large Nalgene bottle to fit. The draw cord and plastic keeper should be on the outside of the pocket.

I bought the Ready 2.0 pack and got it in the mail yesterday, thru Amazon, I was very happy to get it, everything seemed perfect after noticing that the zipper from the middle compartment was getting stuck with the interior of the bag and tearing the bag, I did research and found out that is happening with all the 2.0 by the 2 star review that I found on Amazon saying that this guy went to his local store and all 2.0 packs had the same problem on that bag, since is a problem with the bag I contacted Vertx customer service, I explained everything, the lady that answered told me to return it to Amazon for refund and buy a different bag (🤔I was surprised for her answer) that they couldn't do anything because I bought it thru Amazon, I explained to her that is a problem with quality control that this has nothing to do with Amazon, that they should fix that problem because is a expensive bag and is a really nice bag that fits my needs and I really want to keep it and if that happened in 1 to 2 hours of opening and closing the zipper imagen in 1 month the bag is going to look. I just want to share my bad experience with Vertx
