I had motorbikes most of my life , and just after retirement bought a Harley road king . I dropped it outside my house and due my age couldn’t get it back up ( but a neighbour helped ) it was that moment I decided to buy a new 300gts Vespa having had a 250cc one 20 years before , I’m now on my second gts 300 hpe this time and whilst I’m 77 and constantly nagged by my daughter to give up I absolutely love it and won’t just yet . Only had the road king 3 months and gave it to my son .nearly forgot I loved your review and whilst I have the grey version now I think the red is just iconic.

There's nothing better than a tiny, light, maneuverable Vespa in city traffic. Aside of my car, I have a Ducati Panigale V2 too but, even if it's the most beautiful bike in the world (at least for me) in Rome traffic, a beast like that is nothing but a nightmare. My bike trips in the city are basically 80% Vespa and 20% Panigale. Outside of Rome is a totally different thing, obviously. Try the legendary Vespa once and you will love it forever. I recently purchased the Vespa GTS Super Sport 125 (Black mat edition) and I must say it rides very nice as you said. We have in Belgium a lot of stones on the roads in cities and the Vespa deals with it very well. I feel comfortable when riding with it. Nice review!

As someone who is on my third GTS 300 I wonder how good the square mirrors are? I have always found that the round ones give a much better veiw. Also after all these years they haven't addressed the foot peg issue, at least you can buy after market extenders.

I am looking for a new motorcycle for my wife and I and will be downsizing from our Harley Electraglide to something lighter, such as an adventure bike, but still powerful enough to carry us and our gear. I like your reviews because you sometimes get on the back and give the passenger’s view of a motorcycle. My wife will be giving up her luxury pillion for a less comfortable seat and backrest on an Adventure bike, so I am especially interested in your opinion on a bike I have seen called the CFMoto MT 800 Touring. It looks like good value for the price and it has the KTM 790 engine. It is coming to the USA in spring 2023. If you get a chance to review this bike, that would be cool. Love your bike reviews. Now had my 300 supersport, (matte black) for 6 weeks and love it. My only gripe, is the UK spec has Kmh as the dominant dial, strange, as we use miles per hour. This, however, is not the case in the USA, for some reason 🤔Punishment for daring to leave the EU, perhaps 🤨

Don't loose that key Juliane! The key would be super expensive to replace. Also what is the brand of that jacket you were wearing? I have 2 problem children 2t Aprilia scooters that I bought when we were all in lockdowns. The best thing about Piaggio products is the ease of obtaining spare parts. You need to to a test ride on a Malossi RC1 kitted scooter and there is a race series in Italy.

Yes. Because the engine is older than the 125 engine, and it wasn’t developed with the Start/Stop back then. I assume it will come with the next 300 hpe generation though.

Hey Piaggio, get awake! You sold me a defective new Vespa 125 that does not ride and you just don't mind about it! You are unreliable, Awful! We received our brand new Vespa (Primavera 125cc) 8 October 8th. We rode it for 5 days and got an electronic problem! Now already 6 weeks later still no Vespa waiting for a replacement part from Italy. OK, no actions from Vespa. I start to get angry and will tell it worldwide! 🥵🥶
