A gloss release! I've been waiting 2 years for something other than eyeshadow releases. Oh absolutely I use the gloss wand directly on lip colour too. Otherwise my glosses would never get used.

Exactly! But it definitely makes, especially clear, gloss such an ugly mess. But that whole extra step of putting it on your hand first… I know I should take a second to do it but I just can’t. Plus it’s too tempting to watch the color on the lips get glossy with the addition of the doe foot to the lip. It’s just a shame it gets so ugly when you have to pull it out of your bag. A dirty little secret. Ha ha.

HELLO!!! Ordered a day or so ahead with VIP. Not much of an insider secret. Haha. I should have pretended. Tee hee hee. Thank you for being here to share them with me. I like these a bit better than Lisa's glosses, believe it or not. Cushion is really the right word. They are thick but not sticky. Lisa's are a bit more pigmented really. But they definitely have their similarities. I'll check what glosses I have so that I can compare on Insta and tag you!

Ohhh ok I could find two I like, now that I see them on you! I like tanline and poolside. I thought tanline would be too light online. Hard to tell online. Ok ups just delivered my GXVE quad. I was waiting for this review! I saw this on her site. Are these alittle sticky, cos I love sticky. Lol. Reason being, is they are more longer lasting, and rich, like Charlotte Tilbury glosses, which I love, but so small. All 3 look really nice. Hello Janice! Men definitely don't get it. Haha. Except for the men on here. They are WITH IT! These boast that they are not sticky. In reality, they are definitely goopy....almost...wow, their cushiony description is actually kind of perfect. Truly. So there's a thickness to them that could be kind of related to sticky but not the same as the Charlotte glosses which are definitely a more traditional sticky feeling. that's me trying to describe a feel in words. Haha. I hope I didn't miss the mark too much.

I've been waiting for thud review to hear your thoughts before ordering. How does this compare to the lisa eldridge gloss embrace? How does it wear in terms of lasting power for the color and for the nourishing effect? I know gloss isn't built to last but some are definitely better than others

Hello Mary! Interestingly enough, you are the second person to ask me about comparing it to Lisa Eldridge. And over on my Instagram, I compared a few of the shades and some are very similar. So your question makes complete sense. These glasses are thicker than Lisa‘s. They are more nourishing. But the shine doesn’t last quite as long, if I am pressed to make a difference. The packaging on the Victoria Beckham is prettier but not by enough to make it matter. I like these better in terms of nourishment. Most of the Lisa shades pack a little bit more of a color punch. But we might just be splitting hairs here.

It’s an add to the next order as long as the next order is in the next few months. Does that make sense? Kind of a happy medium. These are definitely, though, the best neutral lip shades because they don’t go milky or chalky or wash you out. Depends on skin tone but you know what I mean.

The lip tint is very dry. I completely agree with you. These are very very very different but, as you note, I do believe that the shine doesn’t last very long. But they’re very comfy and very pretty.
