I received mine earlier last week. I love it! I was a little apprehensive that the color might be too much, but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s beautiful! It seems to have a hint of blue or bluish-green. It does have tourmaline in it, which I love! Tourmaline has a wide range of color - green, blue, pink… I put the Bottle Green eyeshadow stick in the crease & I used Olive SKL to tightline my upper & lower lids. I put Emerald all over the lid & in the crease. I love how the Bottle Green in the crease darkened it up. I’m going to experiment with some other eyeshadow/SKL combos.

The code wasn’t working for a lot of people in the US either. It was very glitchy. I have one viewer who actually sent a note to customer service and they fixed it for her. I know it’s too late now anyway but I did notice there was a lot of issues with it

This might be the prettiest eyeshadow I have ever seen!...but I probably wont get it? I don't know, maybe I will? I love this color so much! It looks wonderful on you, but I am just not sure how often I would wear this color, and I am trying not to collect things I don't use. I don't have any lid lustres, but I have many VB liners, and "olive" is my favorite. Now I wish I had picked up the smokey/gray lid lustre when she had a sale.

I’m bummed about the eye bricks being discontinued. I always wished there were more color stories I was interested in. I have Tweed and Signature but Tuxedo is too cool for me and I’d never wear the blue one. I actually bought a backup of Tweed, which I never do, but it’s one of my most used palettes, especially for travel. You have me considering picking up Silk.

But this single shadows from her are great! I miss the blonde shade, where is it? She must not discontinue the blonde shade of these lid lustres! I lost mine somewhere, stupid the blonde is discontinued apparently. I decluttered a few as they got a bit hard pan, but the olive green with gold shimmer, the Velvet is my favorite, like the Sequin green liner is, it's so easy on hazel/khaki green eyes, a 4 year old can do it, actually you even do not need a brush. I love more and more easy, fool proof stuff. I must say, these lid lustres, compared to her eyewear, a primer comes in handy. But they're beautiful!!! I like the bricks- I have all of them and think tweed is my favorite . For the lid lusters , my favorite by far is mink. I also like velvet. I had to declutter tea rose and chiffon bc they got hardpan. Interested to see what she comes out with in place of the bricks- I suspect quads that will be beautiful and very expensive and I’ll want and try not to buy them lol

I currently own 0 VB Lid Lustres. My biggest problem category for my collection is cream single eyeshadows. I just (finally) tossed the potted version of the Bobbi Brown shade as they started to really smell funky. I have ~30 something sticks and liquids remaining, but I use them everyday. I've decided that I prefer not a potted cream eyeshadow. So, even though these are beautiful, they probably aren't for me. Doesn't mean one might not hop into my cart at some point.

A brand like VBB, can make us think that a shade like this is wearable and refined for general consumption. If the exact same shade and formula came out by Tarte or Too-faced, we would all say no way, even in same packaging. 😮 I am thrilled for the bold color and green lovers to have this! True to color on a lot of tones and depths-unifying if you will.
