The pictures seem to be authentic. She hasn't been there more than a month and before that about 8 month in a Moscow prison. I spent 15 months in the military and shared a room(logement) with 15 mates. We had exercises in the Swedish forests and slept in tents when it was freezing cold and dark. The only reason I was there was to protect my country by doing my duty. Why was Griner in Russia???????

We didn't notice until we unpacked. (Yes, really.) Now, (1) I've no way of proving I'm telling the truth, and (2) even though I am, it doesn't mean Griner was telling the truth when she said she did it by accent. However, given that my wife (a college-educated woman) made such a boneheaded mistake (sorry, honey, but it was), I'm inclined to cut a basketball player some slack. No one ever accused Griner of being a genius. The Russian courts typically hand out two-week sentences for a crime such as Griner's. Her sentence was excessive, the trial was not fair, and her confession was coerced. Even if she were *consciously* smuggling some cannabis oil, could she have anticipated a nine-year sentence instead of a two-week one? How is judicial misconduct her fault?

Dumbest comment since the last time you opened your mouth. How about the trade in April, when it was the release of US Marine Trevor Reed for Konstantin Yuroshenko, a drug trafficker? This administration was offered either Reed or Griner and they chose Reed. Because, as I’m sure you’re completely unaware, his parents couldn’t even confirm he was still alive because the last report they received was he was coughing up blood due to a possible tuberculosis infection and wasn’t receiving any medical care. Your joke is unfunny. And stupid.
