Imagine if we get an RPG about the War of the Ancients where we get to play as Malfurion, Illidan, and maybe Tyrande. Or a retelling of WC1's events through Khadgar's perspective. Or hell, Lord of the Clans with a young Thrall.

It would be absolutely epic to have an RPG where you can still mog..ect, in the Warcraft universe with combat similar to Shadow of Mordor and those Middle Earth games. The combat was super fun and the finishing moves / assassinations were so epic

I would love for the warcraft team to create a souls-like game. Maybe we play the pov following orders of the Titans as the keepers, battling against the black empire during primordial Azeroth. We travel in different old god/elemental domains as different titan keepers. We play as Tyr, Freya, Ra, Odyn, etc... explore the Aesir vs Vanir dynamic, which titan we are associated with, and so much more. I would really want it to not have like a "dark and dirty" lense but still a raunchy/grounded aesthetic; a mix of Elden Ring and Diablo.

Turn based, CRPG style fits perfectly. We already use the party system for dungeons and group play, having a healer/tank/dps makes perfect sense. It could even be based around time walking and encapsulate lots of different stories.

I would like to see an ARPG like Gauntlet, or a game like Dante's Inferno. Leaning more towards Dante's Inferno only because they could do some more of the "adult side" of the Warcraft story. Let us play Durotan or Orgrim and see the actual dark stories of Rise of the Horde. The Orcs force growing their kids with Warlock Fel Magic to have warriors to fight the Draenei. The war with the Draenei, and Durotan's and Orgrim's plight with doing what is right versus fighting for/with their clans. THAT'S the Warcraft that got it's gritty little claws in me and the lore I fell in love with. Not this kiddy shit they have now. Let's Make Warcraft Great Again!

I've been wanting this for over a decade, haha. I love WoW adventuring, minus the cringy cut scenes, but the combat is so much fun. the transog and ability to play a class fantasy is so cool. I'd absolutely die of joy if they could take WoW and create a Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom game with it, but keep the ability to mog and collect. thats the best. man it would be so amazing. I'd love for my kids to get into that as well. id enjoy less a game like baulder's gate, although I think it's a cool game. I'm more into the real time action.

I could absolutely see a Vampire Survivors type warcraft game be made. For a Warcraft RPG I'd LOVE something Dragon Age Origins or Neverwinter Nights. Maintaining the idea of a trinity type system would be amazing. Make it 4 player coop, If anyone remembers games like Champions of Norath, or Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance (original) that too would be an amazing game. If not a full rts game, I'd also like yo see a city builder/colony sim game. I think though for me, as an absolute biggest hope ever, they'd release a Voxel based survival game. I'd like to see it on either a new continent or planet, untouched by the lore so far. Give players the tools to build as any major race/culture in Warcraft (like the 4 factions of WC3) include all sorts of tools for players to create their own quests to share with the ppl who join their worlds. Blizzard if they wanted to could then approach the creators who make the best shit and buy their creations. Take the best buildings and terrain, use it to start a WoW 2 Mmo.

From all the other MMOs I have played, that is my conclusion yes. Maybe there are some I missed, can't actually play everything. Can't recall if I said best, but I definitely was thinking about polished, smooth and satisfying when I wrote the script :)

Definitely the smoothest most responsive tab target combat out there. When you take everything into consideration like targeting, gcd time, procs ogcd skills, aoe aiming (mostly good) it really is the best tab target out there. That said, to make it better I think all I'd personally to WoW combat to bring it forward even more would be a dodge or dedicated sprint action that is equal across all classes. Kinda like ffxiv sprint, or gw2 style dodge roll. If that were added they'd likely have to tame down some of the classes other mobility skills for balance, but it would make everything that much more fun for us as players. If someone is standing in a puddle of fire, they don't have to run/turn/use a skill to get out of it on time. Everyone has the same dodge skill. One button pressed, and roll backwards or a direction. Like everything it'd have a cooldown, but since all players would have equal access to it, encounters could be designed with it in mind.
