New Washi & Packaging Designs, Painting DONE, Stuff I Bought

I work in a corrugated paper factory where we make boxes. If you are buying corrugated boxes, I would suggest that if you have trouble with the scoring or slotting on the box that you bring it up to the manufacturer. If it is not folding properly and the scoring is not cracking you can tell them that they need to deepen the scoring on the boxes. If the scoring is cracking then too much die pressure was used in creating it. Slots can either be too deep or too shallow, another point you could bring up if it is an issue. Also there are different flutes you can use. I used to run a 24 foot Flexo Folder Gluer. And if you get really fancy you can have your box have print or lithos on them. Lithos are more expensive and anything printed is more expensive than a brown box. You can pick from different paper types as well. I would recommend if you do not want boxes that slide around, I would stay away from waxy paper.

The painting turned out so cute. Maybe add some sort of stitching to the bodice? Also, what might help the flowers on the sleeve and hair situation is to add a bit of shadow between the two? I want to personally thank you for these VLOGS and the behind the scenes on how you make your store items. It has greatly inspired me. I also want to say this painting inspired me as well. I have started a painting using the acrylic and oil paints technique. I have never done anything like this before. It was a tad scary, but also very exciting. I added the first layer of oil today and I loved it so much. Thank you for being so inspiring

I just have a suggestion for those left over from the address thingy print. You can buy a paper shredder then you shred those backing paper and use it as a cringkle paper of some sort? Idk like this if you want baylee to seeeee

Lino Printing might be a great way to add a design to the packaging. You can create the Lino cut yourself, which is a fun little project in itself. 😀 ...and now I want sesame seed chicken 😍

Just a small suggestion for your book packaging. Maybe get 4 smaller stamps 2 as a mushroom and daisy and 2 that say white and cream. Then you can stamp but not have huge ones.

My husband and I just got a cookbook called 'cook once eat all week' - we're taking some liberties since we aren't low carb, and the book is designed to work with multiple diet needs. the first week we tried out had an Egg Roll in a Bowl recipe and we LOVED it. that sesame seed garnish is *chefs kiss* though, absolutely necessary :D

R.e. Hot rooms: The office in our apartment is always 27'c or hotter - even in Winter.. It doesn't have a window so it's beyond frustrating!! (we live in a condo building so can't explain why it gets so hot.. Might have chilly grannies living next door, above & below who always keep their heating on?! 🤣 😭 We got these air quality monitors a few years ago (brand is called 'Awair') & put them in 3 rooms of the apartment - it's really interesting to see the difference in temperature, humidity, dust levels & c02! It also sucks when you realise your office will always be a furnace 😭🤣 My point was: We thought we were going crazy thinking the office was hot all the time, no matter what we did in there - we got the Awair plugs & found out we were not in fact imagining things 🤣

Have you thought about getting an eco-tank printer? They use reservoirs instead of cartridges, hold waaaaay more ink and you use the bottled ink in them so it’s way cheaper.

@@knittynerdynatural5933 She uses a regular printer that has modified cartridges you fill with a syringe but I’m talking about a tank feed printer that holds a full bottle of each color of ink in separate built-in tanks and that doesn’t use cartridges at all. Kathrine from Katnipp uses one made by Epson.

I'm curious, is there a reason to not just highlight the streams on twitch? The VODs get auto-deleted after some time, but you can just highlight the entire thing and it'll be saved on there. Especially for the game streams, so you wouldn't have to edit them?
