Very cool but as I am not a die hard fan, the price is too darn high for me. But for those dreaming of this its cool.

what is the point of this? I can play this game on an emulator on my 70 inch tv right now (along with about 10k other games). Why would i want just one tiny little console? It's so impractical. Also, it's not a collectible if it's mass produced and readily available. If only 100 units were made then it would be a collector's dream.

I think the idea is less about playing the game and more about it being a desk piece or display piece, imo. The fact it runs the game is secondary

They are a collectible and sold out rather quickly when they went up for sale on the New Wave Toys website. I preordered mine for $125 and they are now selling regularly on Ebay in the $250 to $300 range each. Only a limited supply of each cabinet are made, and once they sell out, that's it. They won't be making any more of them.
