I've been manually adding any missing thumbnails one by one, on PC ,take usb drive with autobleem, add your opened png boxart images to folder path retroarch> retroboot> assets> thumbs> es... or last folder can be ra (Emulation Station / RetroArch, note. You'll see stock games png images in these folders) now on PSC, install usb, open es or ra, press select menu on game with no boxart, > edit games metadata, > image> enter path > /media/retroarch/retroboot/assets/thumbs/es/"image name".png >enter > save > hit start menu on game> other settings > save metadata> ALWAYS, ive done hundreds. I think i bricked one trying to just scrape boxart?, so got another with 8bitdo wireless adapter included $29 e bay and another nib 5o. Can i take L.boot, and recovery files from one of these PSC and restore the bricked one? Im keeping one non kernel flashed, powered multi usb hub in second port 512gb stick w/ full rompack zips for most rom cores, 500+ PS games (only add 400 bin/cue files at once to usb then install and add new games to PSC autobleem first so it can autoscrape all PS boxart or error, then you can add more games again, and hit X scan new games on PSC ) Im adding each rom game boxart thumb individually by PC, take usb build open files retroarch> retroboot> assets> thumbs> es or ra (emulation station/ retroarch) and adding all missing opened .png image files in with stock game png folder. Match game names exactly; ex 7th Saga, The (USA). (replace &=_) Back on PSC, go to a rom game with no boxart, hit start menu>other settings> save metadata>ALWAYS. Now select button menu>change metadata> image> and enter path example /media/retroarch/retroboot/thumbs/es/7th Saga, The (USA).png then Ok> Save or replace /es/ with /ra/ if using RetroArch

Is there a way of just deleting or hiding Emulation Station completely? I've had my PS classic coming up to three years and always like the idea of ES but in practice I usually end up getting annoyed with it. For one thing it's supposed to be a front end for Retro Arch, but crashes out all the time and never remembers stuff configured in Retro Arch. It get's back and forth menu controls muddled and is not worth the pain.

Since this has the same guts as the Evercade console player, would it be possible to add an HDMI out, or a conversion cable/board to go from it's monitor to an HDMI out?
