New Way To Build A Cattle Panel Trellis

Here's how I built it: • How I Made A DIY Cattl... and I attached it with hose clamps similar to these: amzn.to/3YcumSu
I wanted a way to create some shade on this garden bed - AND - grow food at the same time. This trellis configuration is perfect for the bed.
The T Posts were already in place, so I wedged the trellis onto the bed and held it in place with the t-posts and some iron garden fencing. I connected the cattle panel with hose clamps.

Fair point. We bought 10 at once and paid for delivery. Do you know anybody with a pickup? I've seen a few vids where they do some folding and strap to truck bed.

Yoi are right, I did have to a couple of times. I was able to use the worm bin in the middle to stabilize myself.

They stayed within reach. But I did need a stool for the loofah that I eventually planted.

I thought of this too but wonder if the plants growing on the CP will shade the bed plants too much??

Great question. Time will tell. I suspect it's OK as the majority of the plants are Vining. Once they fill in, I'll have a better idea of the shading. Thanks for asking and watching. Happy Gardening.

It depends on the placement of the garden ie. East/West, North South. There are actually a lot of plants that grow well in semi shade/filtered shade and will thrive there

This is a 16-foot cattle panel. It is perched on the edges of the bed. The T-Posts were in place already, so I wedged it in between them. I thought I recorded a video, but sadly, I missed clicking the record button for the setup part. 😢 thanks for asking. This cattle panel is wider than my Birdies set up, but I did see at tractor supply there are panels that are still 16 feet, but narrower. Great question.
