It might be integral? With a bushing 1911 disassembly allows the barrel to be removed through the front of the slide...

Good question. The video is unclear as to whether this is a drop-in upgrade to a gun you already have or something you specify in a custom build or something already produced by them with it and going to be offered on the market.

@@g54b95 It's not drop in. $1,750 for an entire new slide assembly with the comp....that's the only way to get it on an existing build. I was able to add it to an order I had in the system today that hasn't been built yet for $350. I thought that was a very reasonable price.

@@bowlinrl I'm going to send my EDCx9 in to get the work done. Ya the $1750 is expensive, but Wilson Combat does great work. I had my gun sent in for their true Precision optics mount year back. Since it's my primary carry and range gun it's worth the cost. Only big negative is the downtime, quoting 4-6 months, but the rep says lately the turn around has been faster.
