Good stuff! I went with the 92x , and now want the older variants.

@@wesleysmith1141 I was very tempted by the M9A3 but, had to have a more classic version. I’m liking some of the newer stuff they are coming out with. Good to see them keep these old shooters relevant. Thanks for watching!

Nice! Thanks so much for sharing. I saw these on CF... tempted. Condition looks awesome. The SBs are the most beautiful 92s in my opinion--the "drip" is real, bro. The Governor in the Walking Dead actually used an SB (you can tell by the round trigger guard), but it was nickel plated. As far as the finish... the SB was the last of the 92s to use the classic blued finish. The SBs did not have chrome-lined barrels, either, as far as I know. And the hammer pin (on the FS models) is what's enlarged to keep the slide from flying back.

Thank you so much for adding your knowledge. I remember reading that about the barrels as well but forgot about it by the time I hit the record button. Lol! Thanks for watching!

I always forget half of what I wanted to talk about before I press record, lol. You’d think we’d make a check list by now but here we are!😂😂😂
@mediomorde4511Ай бұрын
Not firing pin, hammer pin. The hammer pin that holds the hammer in, inserted into the side of the weapon has a much larger head on the FS/M9 which extends into the slide. There is a cutout in the slide that fits that hammer pin head which eventually ends further down the slide which will make it bind if the slide goes too far.

Surplus guns don’t usually come with extra magazines. Sometimes you can find some with 2 mags at a gun show or pawnshop

I know, I just hate it. One magazine is about useless. lol

I bought me one of those, I paid the extra $30 for a pick of the litter….great shooting like any 92 series pistol. I only offer with you in that all pistols sold should one with at least 3 mags, looking forward to your review after you put some rounds through it.

I thought about paying the extra but, I was torn between something newish looking or something worn in. I could have been happy with either. Thanks for watching!

Your example is absolutely beautiful, thanks for sharing the DRIP. Love the Die Hard references, the 92 has such a beautiful silhouette. If you ever get the chance to watch the channel Ahoy, he has a great pop culture related video covering the 92. Going to watch your mag modification video now too. Thanks for sharing! Great videos man 👍

I have the 92S. Blued slide, gloss black smooth frame. Euro mag release. Action is like glass. Then skip forward to the 92fs Inox and Centurion. They all have aluminum frames except the 92x Performance. 92SB is aluminum too. Your reference to the firing pin is actually the hammer pin. The head is oversized to catch the slide should it break. That issue was caused by shooting proof load ammo without knowing it. It also cause breakage of the Sig 226. I can't think of any pistols that come with 4 mags standard (without some promo deal) but my 92X Centurion and Sig 226 MK25 both came with three.

I had forgotten how smooth the Beretta action is. Thanks for the heads up on the hammer pin. I couldn't remember exactly what I had read regarding that particular difference. I know not many people ship with 4 mags, I just think they should. That's kind of my minimum for any gun. Oh well. lol. Thank you for watching!

Does the beretta 92sb have an aluminum frame like the beretta 84bb?
@FlashinthePan82Ай бұрын
I am guessing so since it will not attract a magnet where the slide, barrel, etc. will.
@willbar1961Ай бұрын
All 92 series, at least from the 92S forward, have a forged aluminum frame, except the new 92X Performance models with steel frames.

@@FlashinthePan82 I picked it up today. I'm very pleased. It has the original blued finish. It's obviously used, there is some wear on the beavertail, trigger guard and grip. But, I think it's in great shape for 40 year old pistol.
