Exciting new models coming. Love We/Civivi and consider you to be a cut above others in the same class. I've been into button-locks long before you started making yours though. Some notes - Cogent - the red micarta is only available in a serrated version - sad, since I don't really care for serrated. Don't much care for jade or purple, or black-coated blades in general - these are the current 3 variatoins of Cogent in a plain blade. An ideal Cogent - or the new no-name one in this vid would have a stonewashed blade and red micarta. Hope that's in the works. Other button locks I love are Protec/Drop Mordax, Protec TR4 and a bunch of Hogue models...

@@Vicandiers Pretty good. You can reverse-flick it, thumb-flick it or wrist flick it with quit ease. When opened, blade stays secure with no movement. When closing, it usually needs littlebit of wrist movement, but nothing serious and then it just nicely shuts. Still really easier then most of liner-locks or back-locks. Also when closed, it stays nice and secure, until you wanna open it. The red G10 is awesome. It has really subtle pattern, which from like foot away is almost invisible but feels really good in hand - especially when you wrist flick it. It is also quite light. A think that is great EDC kife around 100 USD.

I have three elementums. My favorite one is the olive micarta against the D2 satin blade. It has better action then my ones that are s35vn. They need to start selling scales for the elementum. Not just titanium or carbon fiber But Different colors of G 10 and micarta. And also different color/styles civivi logo pivot fasteners.

WE makes some really cool stuff. I always hem and haw about buying some of the big dollar knives. My problem is I really like to use all my knives, and while I know these knives can handle it, it'd be a shame to muck them up. Currently my go to expensive knives are still sebenzas. You can beat them up, and you know they'll always be in production, always have spare parts, and always be able to re blast your handle and blade and send it back to you brand new and sharp. Its like a forever knife. These other knives seem better in lots of ways, but I'd still be scared to ruin them.

It’s kind of cool seeing them have the conversation about the knife but it would also be great if we could really see the knives. A lot of these are really wanted to see the shape of and either it was out of focus or it was zoomed out too much. I don’t know what’s going on this year but a lot of these videos have been like this. Oh well I guess I’ll try to find some other videos of these knives so I can see if I’m really interested.

Every year every knife brand bumps their prices up..I remember back when you could get a Spyderco PM2 for just over $100,now they are around $170..with that being said,I can’t complain with WE/Civivi prices at all,they are well worth their asking price..same with Kizer,Bestech and QSP..I personally don’t mind buying quality Chinese knives but I don’t buy clones,counterfeits or Chinese made knives from American brands..if I’m buying a Kershaw,Buck,KaBar,etc it will be made here in the USA.I don’t do 7Cr,8Cr,AUS-8,etc

It's not. Per Andrew Demko himself. The designer, Snecx Tan, previewed that lock design well before Andrew ever showed his Shark Lock to the public. Instagram knife aficionados quickly noticed the apparent similarity of the two locks and called Demko out on it but both Demko and Tan have said the locks are not the same. Obviously, I can't say what the differences are, yet, but Tan calls it the Superlock and it came before the Shark Lock.

Looks like some nice stuff. Definitely jumped all over the button lock train that is for sure and no complaints about that. Only immediate criticism is call your "spine lock" unique, the design you chose to achieve it might be but at the end of the day its an AD20/AD20.5 like system. It might be better, we will have to see, but unique idk seems like a stretch. Either way lets see the good designs keep rolling.

Well, the shark lock is just a different take on the recoil lock that has been around for quite a while. But then it is in the details, the tri-ad lock is also "just" a back-lock...

It is a different mechanism. The Superlock’s and Vision knife design is really intelligent and there is absolutely merit in calling it unique. It’s also worth noting that Snecx and Demko both acknowledge each other’s innovation.
