Increase the hovers' speed. Increase the hovers' durability. Decrease the hovers' mass. Hell, even increase the hovers' tonnage, I don't care. But for the love of all that is good and holy... Increase the hovers' power drain. Seriously, each hover drains HALF THE POWER OF A STUDDED WHEEL ST. It's absolutely ridiculous. And the reason hovers are so OP in small builds has always been because of their nearly instantaneous acceleration, not their speed.

@@5eyed2k That's kinda my point. They aren't as strong as they could be in giant clan wars level builds, but they're incredibly strong in the tiny, psuedo-sealclubbing 5-6k builds. HOWEVER, if they are being used in clan wars at all, it means that they are pretty dang strong. If they were actually weak, nobody would use them. That is a problem I have with a lot of hover supporters, they say that hovers are weak, but then go and use them in competitive play and win. If melees were actually as OP as they are made out to be, nobody would use anything else. Hovers aren't weak, they're just not the undisputed strongest movement part, like they used to be. Armored tracks are weak. Augers are weak. Hovers are not weak. Yes, I realize that plenty of cw builds have augers, but only ever as armor, not as an actual movement part.

The only actual decent melee weapons are the Boars at blue tier and the Maulers at purple and that's only cause they eat frames. Dog builds with fire however are different cause the devs also love fire.

I'ma have to come out and say it, that I am glad you're keeping everyone's experience in mind. To hear the resident "hover lover" as you said, worry that this might be too much is relieving. I'm unsure how it'll go. I'ma be on the fence. If we want fast glass cannon hovers anf slow tanky hovers, there should be something where after having X amount of hovers, the power drain increases by 1% for each hover, increasing for every hover added over the limit of X hovers. Maybe the limit could be different for both types, maybe lower for faster hover and higher for slower hover.

Hovers needs to be fast and light. In my opinion they need to go like 100km/h but if they get shot a hover falls imideatly, like health 50points. So that the main focus on a hover build is to protect the hovers.

I agree with your idea of the hovers, should be fast but soft. The Kaiju reload speed is quite hard though, 3.8 sec is quite long now that it will brawl more often in high PS.

I agree that Kaiju needs nerf, but I think making it 12 energy is too much. It's 11 energy was nice, because it left 5 energy for modules, so you could make a really supporty build. Now with 12 energy it's same as cannons or scorpions, so will be not so much point of bringing kaiju to high level battles. Looks like 7-10k ps will be their place :/

Thing is, kaiju is not a support weapon. It matches the damage output of most relic setups. If you want it to be a support weapon with energy left for modules, it would need a drastic damage reduction
