LOVE the stun guns!!! Started laughing as soon as I heard “we got a flashlight stun gun I wanna show ya”! The “cooking knives” look like the railroad spike knife I got from you guyz. I think punching a watermelon with it might be fun. And talk about a self defense cane! nice! I think everyone over 55 should have one! So amps is what can kill a person not just volts. Amps is the amount of volts coming at you. There’s a lot of other terms and components but to put it simply, amps is the dangerous component. Amps is the amount of of volts being thrown at you. Kind of like the volume of water. So it’s the old water coming out of a pipe analogy. Water coming out of a garden hose at say 200 pounds of pressure. No big deal really. But 200 pounds of pressure (volts) coming out of a 6’ pipe (amps) is gonna send you across town. As always! Awesome stuff Kyle!
@Karatemart3 жыл бұрын
Wow John! You really just described amperage in such an easy to understand way. I really appreciate that and may use your analogy to describe it in the future. I just got home from the convention and it was such a productive trip! Talk to you soon brother!
@johnemmons90873 жыл бұрын
@@Karatemart cool Kyle. Was the Vegas trip weapons related? Hope to see some pics of it. I learned electricity in the early 80’s when I built my first house. I had worked on guitar amps and stuff before that so I thought give it a shot when I built my first house. I did all the electrical and then just did it all the time till now including putting in fiber optic at a private school I worked at. Anyway once you get a handle on the simple concept of water flow it’s really easy. So you’re talking milliamps in a stun device which you can survive but just a half an amp under the right circumstances is lethal. Next stun gun video I will tell you how it works. How a little battery can build up all those volts! Fun stuff!!!!
