@@candyneige6609 You should rather feel bad for the miserable living conditions of the working people and the elderly in South Korea. They have weather forecast themselves. btw, I feel bad for trolls who can only post stupid comments.

@@PhuongDPRKDaily I couldn't agree more with you. The social environment in SK has done nothing but induce never-ending stress and thoughts of suicide in that region. It's damning and sad that people will put on a facade just to be even in the cultural realm of SK.

Because they believe it’s one Korea and they are its legitimate government. I’m not saying that’s the case. But it’s more aspirational.

Interesting. Back in the USSR, the news broadcasters would only read out the weather forecast for the next day for each region (oblast) of the RSFSR and then for each SSR individually. This was accompanied with a very nostalgic (for me) melody. Now in independent Azerbaijan we have almost the same thing, although the weather is not read out anymore but shown on screen for every region (rayon) of Azerbaijan. It would be nice to see an old weather broadcast from the DPRK. Edit: I found an archive of the old Soviet weather broadcast: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJmugZSlZteUr5o

Very detailed weather forecast. Much better than the weather forecast we have here in Brazil.

They really stepped up their KCTV to catch up on the other channels and at least looks more modern than the older style they used to have.

표준어에서 '개다'라는 표현은 흐리다가 맑아졌을때 쓰는 표현인데 북한에서는 '개다'를 그냥 '맑다'라는 뜻으로 쓰는거임?

I know pretty much nothing about Korean language. She ends almost every sentence she says with something that sounds like "sumi da'. What does that mean? It's strangely repetitive.
@PhuongDPRKDaily9 ай бұрын
It has no special meaning, it is attached to a sentence when it ends with a verb.
@petermueller80734 жыл бұрын
What means ,semida' ??
@PhuongDPRKDaily4 жыл бұрын
It has no special meaning and only exists on the speech level, not on the writing level. It is spoken when a sentence ends with a verb. If the verb ends with a vowel, 습니다 (seubnida) is added, if it ends with a consonant, ㅂ 니다 (bnida) is added.
