Hello! Today I'm trying out the new Wet 'n Wild Photo Focus Dewy Foundation! I am so excited to try this new photo focus foundation because the original Wet 'n Wild Photo Focus foundation is one of my all time favorite foundations. Sometimes it can be too matte though so I'm so happy they came out with a dewy version. I share how this foundation wears throughout the day on my combination skin.

I found this foundation at 5 Below last week and it’s one of my favorites already. I would compare it to Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation. I have a dry face and an oily nose and it doesn’t cling to any dry spots and doesn’t separate on my nose :)

The shade is perfect for you! I want to purchase this one but i am having trouble picking the right shade for me so... I have a question. My fav drug store foundation is L’oreal infallible fresh wear in shade True Beige (420) - it matches me perfectly- very light neutral. Is “Buff bisque” a shade close to this one?

I love the original foundation and have been anxiously waiting for this to come to Greece! If I may ask, how active were you on the day you tested it? The original looks incredible on my depending-on-season skin but if I'm having an active day, it doesn't quite last all day (which is fine with me, I prefer removing my makeup and redo-ing it if I have to go out later in the day again).

I like to use a medium coverage dewy foundation and use a full coverage concealer to spot conceal before putting on the foundation. This is the best way in my opinion. It helps the foundation not be too heavy and look more natural too!

Wet n Wild PhotoFocus DEWY Foundation?! 😲🤯 I'm HERE for this!!!! I really wanted to love their original one because I loved the coverage, but it would end up looking so dry on my dry skin! This is too funny, though... I was just planning to pick up the original just to mix with some of my more dewy foundations because I do like the coverage. Then I see this upload in my KZbin feed! KZbin reads minds, I swear! LOL. I need to try this one! Does it have a better smell/no smell?! Or is it still that same paint smell that the original one has?!

I would say it is kind of similar, yes. It is definitely different though. I can't really explain how/why since I haven't used the cushion in a little while. I love that one too! Have you tried flipping the sponge over?

No I got it the other day I couldn't use the other cause the smell was so bad ..this one has a scent but its super light and not that paint chemical smell. I think the shades run different though so I would probably go yup a shade because I got the 2nd lightest and I'm darker than her and its too light but I have a yellow under tone and I think the next shade up is a pink undertone so I think the shades run weird and lighter.

Your video popped up on recommendations. I believe we might have similar skin tones and types, with past and current acne concerns although I'm quite a bit older so I have "mature skin". You said you were kind of dry and you hadn't put primer on yet but you looked extremely shiny already. Did you already have moisturizer or something? It's hard to tell how dewy the foundation is when your already looking dewy. It's hard to hear tone over a comment so just know I'm not trying to be rude. I'm just wondering.

Yes I had just done my skincare. It does get drier throughout the day and feels tight. That's why I was saying that. I'll keep that in mind for future reviews!

I'm afraid to buy it because I bought the original one and it looked horrible. It looked like I rubbed wall paint on my face. Looked cakey and made my skin extremely dry. I used it in summer that I have more oily skin and it still looked the same.

It is a totally different formula this time though. If you thought the other looked cakey, it might just be the wrong foundation for your skin type. I would try the new one and if you don't like it, then you can return it.

I thought you had dry skin? Why worry about being oily! I’ve yet to find a beauty influencer that actually needs and or wants a DEWY looking face hence the dewy foundation just like what the Koreans going on. I’m looking for a western made foundation that has the same vibe but I cannot for the life of me find a KZbinr who doesnt POWDER the dewy foundation. I wanna see someone use it without setting it and see the result at the end of the day. Like how long it lasts all day, how the texture changes all day, how it interacts with other makeup products. This is why makeup companies have yet to perfect their dewy products, because no one seems to be using them as they should be. The “dry skinned” ones seem to be confused with what they want in a foundation. I dunno if they’re expecting it to be some kind of a moisturizer in a way that it will not make their face look dry and yet want a matte looking face. Focus on your skincare if you want good skin FFS, don’t blame it on makeup.

Cassandra Martinez try to choose a shade that says “warm” So it will be more yellow,Pink means that is cool toned, on the matte ones i know that it writes if ITS cool or warm on the bottle So if it doesnt on the dewy ones just Find your shades in the matte ones But buy the dewy one cuz they are the same shades ,hope it was helpfull
