What's the treadwear rating on the new meats? That's a pretty good indicator of their traction. From a quick web search, it looks like 200 treadwear with AA Traction and A Temperature rating. Nice score. I like to push it on tire width. When those wear out, I wonder how much clearance you have around your struts for wider tires. On my aleros, i was originally looking at 245/50zr16 bfgoodrich GForce tires but settled on a set of 225/50r16 bfg traction t/a.

First the FX then the S6 and now a "good" deal on probably 1,200+ retail set. I'm starting to think you might know a guy who knows a guy....haha. Also, about a decade ago I went +1 on wheels and tires on an S2000. From Potenzas to Toyo. Those Toyos were bump-stiff. I wonder if you feel it too in the Eclipse.
