these specs are flushed with no rubbing at all. also lowered on eibach pro kit lowering springs.

I almost bought Konig Hypergram's from Fitment Industries a couple weeks ago, but I settled on OZ Ultralegerra HLT's 18x8 ET45 for my MK7 GTI. These are my dream wheels, and I was able to find brand new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's in 225/45 18 for $75/tire! Love my new OZ wheels and Indy 500 tires. I have ran the DWS06's before. Very good in the snow and rain. Best A/S tire in snow and rain by far!! Your Mazda 3 Turbo looks good man! Go get those autocross runs in!

Oh man the nervousness I had for you when you weren't sure if they fit. Just know there are only 3 types of wheels. The 4 socket, and 2 different 5 sockets. 5 sockets will either have a 100 or 114.5 space between the bolts. Always look and the current wheel you got on her so you never have to worry about that.

i knew that the PCD of the wheel is 5x114.3. i was talking about the +45 offset and if it was gonna fit to my liking. came out perfect though 👌🏽 fitment industries helped a lot with specs

Nice look! Completely off topic, but I heard in the video youre running Eibach Pro springs? How much lower are they compared to stock? I have been debating on getting some springs for my 3, however im worried i am going to scrape pulling in and out of my driveway, since my rallyarmor mudflaps do it currently at stock ride height. Would you think that if I lowered my car on NSL or Eibach springs, that my entire car would scrape?

Fitment is crisp! Wish I got my 57DR's in +45 instead of +38, but I couldn't find it in that offset. Might sell them and get Work T7Rs in +45 offset.

i know its a totally different body and chassis but i run 18x8.5 +35 on my 2nd gen 3, the front definitely pokes out about an inch and rubs a little with hard cornering or high speed dips/bumps, and i had to get adjustable rear camber and toe arms so the back didnt rub with passengers in the car. then again i also have about three quarters of an inch between the tire and fender lol. i agree that for a daily setup the specs you went with are much better, looks clean!

im have the AWD sedan with eibach (so it should be lowered slightly more than the hatch) and I'm looking to get 225/45/18. Having trouble finding someone with this exact setup but I wanted to know if you rub or scrap fenders when you go over a speedbump or pothole?

if u have the same specs as me (18x8.5 +45) then no u won’t rub. 235/40 is already a little stretched so 225/45 will be even more stretched.

I’m not a fan of the glossy bubbly look on the OEM wheels. If it woulda been a semi gloss mate black it mite let it pass. I got a ampliform Konig set in a bronze n it’s a head turner.

yea they were. with +40 the rears should be fine but the front will prolly poke a bit. lowering springs will work but if u decide to go lower than that you’ll prolly rub unless u camber

i love it. the awd and turbo together has plenty enough torque for me. and the awd does good in the snow. feels comfortable when cruising and fun when ripping through some twisty roads
