Those wheels look great! The 7 spokes really opens it up to see the blue calipers - which would have gone so well with bronze! Too bad that didn't work out but the gunmetal is perfect. That's a bummer about the front center cap.

Some 8.5x18 Enkei T6Rs with +38 offset still poke just a touch, and the 245/40R18s(Continental ExtremeContact's) they're wrapped in just barely tuck up into the fender well under full compression. Seriously, big appreciation for the details and the specs being mentioned because I wasn't even sure where to start measuring to make sure the wheel/tire combo I wanted would actually fit. Seeing the clear view of your fitment at @8:10 along with the detailed info gave me all I needed to pull the trigger on my setup.

So you’re saying when it’s lowered +38 will sit flush? I’ve got the same specs just with emotion ZR10s instead, I’m at stock ride hight now and the wheels poke out a bit more than I expected in the front, about 3/8 inch, thinking about getting some coilovers if it’ll suck it in a bit more

@@tibbittsaerospace201 this is what I’ll say from my experience. I just installed enkei tsr-x 18x8.5 +38 and they poke still with me on eibach lowering springs. Wish everyone wasn’t saying to get 18x8.5 +38 because I think a higher positive offset would be better with 18x8.5. Or else maybe do 18x8 +38 and it would be flush

Your car and wheels look 👀 good, I was actually looking at these wheels & the brand that Fitment Industries I believe created, and wanted a set but gotta save up some more money. I wasn’t sure if any other Mazda3 bought any of their wheels. I seen the “Raven” 6 spoke directional, and their “Night” in Picasa Blue, witch I like the look of because in certain lights it can look blue or purple. But I do like these but my 2011 Mazda3 I-Touring Sedan is in the Graphite Mirca color witch is like a gunmetal grey-ish color so I’d rather go with Black, Picasa Blue, Silver, or chrome but I’m definitely now considering this brand over ESR, Enkei, Konig, Vors*** I’m actually going to wait a couple more years and then buy a Like-New Used with low mileage 2021-23 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus Hatchback for the first time owning a Turbo vehicle and AWD and I really like Mazda’s after owning mine. Love your content and can’t wait to see more!! Subscribed!!

Yeah unfortunately that’s just the car industry. Manuals are cheaper to make so let’s throw it in the top trim to make a bigger profit. I guess that’s their thought process.

Federalizarion costs. Years ago it was $42M per engine/transmission combo per chassis. That's why a lot of OEMs only offer 1 engine/trans option over the life of the vehicle...

Looks great bro. I'm new to car mods and fitment and all that stuff. Still learning what the numbers mean for wheel measurements and all that. This video was extremely helpful and I love those new wheels. I have the 2019 Mazda 3 Hatch and it bothers me how thin/narrow the tires are. I don't like the look at all. The tires actually did come with the wheels. I picked them up from Anovia and they give you the option to package the wheels and tires together! They mount and balance them at their facility and ship them straight to you and all you have to do is install them straight onto your car!

Yes they come inflated! If you package a set of wheels and tires together from them, they mount and balance the wheels. And all you have to do is install them straight onto your car.

An 18x8.5 +35 will give the same fitment regardless of what style you’re going with.

Are you going to calibrate your speedometer sensor to account for the larger tires or just leave it as is.

So I learned from another commenter that this an axle bolt. This is apparently a very common issue with aftermarket wheels on Mazdas, there’s really no way around it unfortunately.

I couldn’t find much on this topic, but what I did come across is you can do front camber adjustments with camber bolts or coilovers with camber plates. But unfortunately you can’t adjust the rear unless you have it fabricated

Did you have to get center hub rings? Apparently mine are like an inch from the hub so im seeing shaking up at the front end when reaching 60+. Mechanic said that they noticed that there was small space between the hub and the rim so it doent sit flush. What years is yours again?

I just had my 20k mile service done this past week and the tech told me the same thing. I had no idea or atleast didn’t notice it, after they told me and took it home I noticed the same thing, it’s very slight but I ordered some huh centric rings and will be putting them on asap! And mine is a 2022
