*NEW WHEELS* - R34 GTT to GTR conversion [Ep18]

New wheels have arrived for my R34. Unboxing them and test fitting a tyre to figure out clearance issues.

​@@darrynjames It is a really huge project, it is very sad that people do not know about this effort. I hope you get the results you want one day. The algorithm is a pain in the ass, there is no solution to it :D

@@batuhans.5120 exactly right, it’s more for the fun of it than to gain views. It is a massive undertaking but it’s very rewarding doing majority of the build my self and I can’t wait to stand back and look at it completed. I think by the end of it the paint and engine machine work will be the only outsourced jobs

Like your content and R34 build. do you have any recommendation for those offset caster spacer you mentioned? I have a R34 GTT as well putting 18x9.5 +25 i noticed they hit as well.

Really awesome content bro! Just wanted to ask maybe do you know if r34 gt and r33 gtst subframes/suspension are the same? Because i have a r34 gt and the whole drivetrain from an r33 gtst, so gonna try to make it work haha. Btw, isnt 295 on front overkill? What tire do you have the back? Do you have any spacers? My goal is maximum traction and stability so trying to figure out stuff haha

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. As far as I am aware they are the same. The only difference I am aware of is the GT should be non hicas and the 33 gtst will be a hicas subframe. It probably is a bit overkill, I’ll be running 295’s all round as I have a square set of wheels @ 10.5in +22 and what you see in the video is with no spacers fitted. This is the first time I’ve set a car up for grip, all of my other stuff has been for drifting so this will likely be a bit of trial and error with set up once I can hit up some track days.

That’s awesome, I really don’t mind the 33gtr hey. Yeah rust with these things is always a challenge, especially with the rate of bad ones coming out of Japan. I hope you find something nice.
