I'm guessing that Diabell was the one who corrupted the White Woods and their inhabitants. Rciela and Silvera became Sinful Spoils - meaning that the corruption must have cost them their lives - while the younglings became the White and Black Witches. And given the lore from the spells and trap, the corrupted essence also created the Snake-Eye monsters. Meaning that Diabellstar searching for the Sinful Spoils and Diabellze capturing Poplar was intended... though for what purpose, I wonder.

Both Recia and Silvera seem to be both of the Diabelle's mentors before they ate the forbidden fruit. As for Morrighan I think the final synchro boss is Diabelleze after she discovers it and probably turned both mentors into the sinful spoils we see now.

The starters are awesome extenders and the recursion is pretty good. Only issue and the lack of inherent built in protection, which may pose as a problem. Bosses are nothing special but the recovering generic backrow is asking to be abused but otherwise it is decent for what it is. Backrow cards are disappointing for what they offer. I do however love the trap card and how versatile it is which offers options for varying flexible builds. Overall, hit and miss and nothing to ride home about. Awesome artwork though, which may propel me to build them irregardless of meta relevance. Being a Bayonetta fan is the cherry on top. Clear homage to Jeanne and Bayonetta.

Diabellestar and Diabelze origin story, deck works with Secret Village of the Spellcasters, can run parts of the Albaz lore cards in it too. This might just become a contender for a one of my favorite decks. Gonna have to do some testing with it soon

This Deck can summon visas Amritara and grab any of the Clear New World field spells (visas lore field spells) due to them all being light monsters and him being able to be summoned with just tuners You also get access to every spell trap visas has which is hovering around 50 right now with only about 12 good ones And since you're likely summoning these tuners from deck off a level 2 you can easily make Barone From what I've seen so far are they pair really well with Mannadium, and from the monsters you don't get any sort of locks the only problem you might have is getting all the necessary material

So far its a interesting deck. Giving all the spells/traps the ability to recur themselves after they are discarded is a cool way to stop you from losing resources. Diabellestar herself also slots in just fine in the deck since she discards anyway to special summon and can search a sinful spoil card. So far this deck has good potential

Something interesting to note is that Asteria can Summon Incredible Ecclesia, Cartesia and Quem, they are quite a boost to Synchro Branded. The also work really well with Magician's Soul and Decks that want their S/Ts on GY, like Eldlich and SPYRAL. At first I also thought on Witchcraft, but on second thought thats probably to resource intensive for your S/Ts

im actually liking these a lot. Also, Asteria is Diabellstar and Risette is the blondie. I'm slowly piecing together the story. Seems one, possibly the blond ate that forbidden apple in the art of the new sinful spoil card and possibly fucked up the entire woods if not reconstructing everyones lives. I think the Blond one ate that forbidden apple since she has an effect to floodgate this decks entire gameplan, as if she betrayed everyone in the woods with her sin.

I think it's more likely that it was Asteria/Diabellstar that ate it first, considering "Sinful Spoils of Betrayal - Silvera" and "Sinful Spoils of Doom - Rciela" are both Diabellstar supports, not Diabellze supports (Diabellze's Sinful Spoils support is "Sinful Spoils of Dozing - Morrighan" and "Sinful Spoils Cycle"). Though I do think that Risette/Diabellze is still ultimately going to be the villain of the story since her name seems to be similar to "Beelze" in "Beelzebub" (aka the devil). So maybe., I think it's still a bit too early to tell - but it is coming into focus.

And given the similar looks, either Asteria became Diabell, or the latter was the one who corrupted both Asteria and Risette, as well as Rciela and Silvera (given how the former when from swordswoman to succubus-like). So it now boils down to two sister-like characters fighting for the Sinful Spoils... though their reasons for it is still unclear.

I got a bout of weaponized autism, and I think the 1500/200 support cards you were thinking about were Grand Spiritual Art - Ichirin (non controlled S/T negate when controlling for 1500 def tuner and swaps a spellcaster for the 1500 att tuner), and Ranryu / Jigabyte (battle & effect destruction tutors, eh). Everything else was for 1850 att or same att as def spellcasters

As a Witchcrafter player I'm excited to mess around with these. Both archetypes discard spells and their spells recycle themselves (though witchcrafter spells are unfortunately only return to hand on your end phase), so they could absolutely use each others spells. Plus better sinful spoils access is not something to complain about at all. Don't know how useful these actually are, or what the ratios would be, but it'll be fun to mess around with at the very least.

It's Bayonetta. The apple witch is Diabellze, the bad one. Seemingly killing or sealed their teachers in objects (wolf and bat) and took on the powers for herself. Probably possessed. See the ghostly spirits in the card art and inside Diabellze jacket. To which we see adult Diabellestarr collecting them all to purify. She took the snake eye core from a huge dragon and turned it into a baby form.

The Diabellestar stuff doesn't get your stuff started but with Betrayal-Silvera the deck is resistant to cards like Dimensional Shifter because of cards like Whispers of the Sinful Spoils and hyper aggressive with how many interruptions it can make. Going first you can get Silvera, then during your opponents turn you can use Betrayal Silvera, get Diabellestar back after sending her to grave, set Whispers during your opponents turn, and use Whispers because its a quick-play spell. If the decks got all of this and the ability to search/special summon light spellcaster such as Cartesia, Quem, and Dogmatika Ecclessia and use Bystials you know it's going to instantly be top tier amazing. The deck searches/special summons a good portion of its' non-engine. You can pair it with Branded Opening to increase your chances of making plays with Cartesia. Whispers allows you to use Bystials without consequences.

Diabell, Fiendess of the White Woods, the Level 8 Synchro Monster, will be great recovery for Denglong builds. Make Diabell with Denglong, recover used Counter Trap (Nine Pillars or Zefra Divine Strike). Next turn, revive Denglong and use it's effects once again.

So the deck can search Effect Veiler, with Diabellstar(Both of them) NS Effect Veiler with the myriad SS White Woods and Diabellstar means you can bring out the 8 Synchro and the 6 simultaneously if you want, or push for Zoroa, the Magistus Synchro, set a Magistus that matches your opponents Extra Deck Mon and prevent them from Activatig Effects, then pop off with your combo.

This might have been said already, but with the first monster, any spell trap heavy deck can just summon cartesia and make the dusk dragon. It might come up in something like phantom knight for example.

whispers would probably be good in witchcrafters since they send spells as cost and the low level monsters banish themselves. so fuel and getting back your banished witchcrafters into rotation and on the off case just having a quick reborn for the high level witchcrafters.

People are talking about Effect Veiler but whats more interesting is Cartesia and Quem. They give you access to fusion plays on yours and your opponents turn. With cards like Chaos Angel, Baronne, Despian Queratis + Fallen of albaz, Bystial Dis Pater, Luluwalilith, the Dogmatika engine, etc. this deck has so much power and potential right out of the gate. Because its a light archetype if you use Bystials you can make a full power Chaos Angel and it will give the deck immunities to almost every strategy in the game.

These cards are... odd. Based on the text of the sinful traps from the previous set, i was expecting more main deck illusion monsters to help build a deck centered around the traps and diabellze. These cards are not bad, but definitely incomplete since they only have one form of disruption. Hopefully the next wave of support fleshes them out more along with some more main deck illusion monsters. Seems like the natural path given how they will need some new meta decks soon

So many thoughts , 1) The “to activate monster effect” cause is generic and counts the deck to, so monsters like Celestia , Lightsworn Everyone Forgot triggers them, 2) The blue-eyes monsters are all light spellcaster tuners, so there’s synergy when busting out odd number level synchros 3) The send Spell OR trap cost is absolutely getting used for running floodgates 4) the starters are also level 2 and can be linked out the magister link 1, so there’s synergy with sprights and dogmatics, if Elf ever breathes free air again EDIT: Sinful Spoils Whisperings recovering banished spellcasters for bouncing spent floaters, makes spellbook magician and spellbook of life plus maybe magician's soul absolute rouge tier bangers.

Haven't finished the video only on the first spell. Immedite thought Formula Syncron, on opponent turn go into Desert Lovust (opponent discards) then go into whatever else you want. This synergies with the I think its Supay monster (discard a card summon the level 5 and level 1 tuner can only synchro the rest of the turn). You can discard the spell, set it then use it and doesn't use your normal. You still get full combo and still can do whatever you want.

Asteria and Risette are respectively Diabellstar and Diableeze, and this archetype painted them as best friends as a part of the same clan. But everything changed when they heard the whispers of the Sinful Spoils. Biting the forbidden apple meant that Risette became mad with power and turned some of their former comrades of the White Woods into monstrous beings, and Asteria must've been forced to put them down and absorb their power (hence why they're Sinful Spoils belonging to Diabellstar). That's my interpretation of the story behind these cards. If it's true, no wonder Diabellstar ended up being such an emotional mess and heavy drinker in canon. She not only lost her best friend and had to put down several more friends as mercy killings, but also has to be the one to eventually put down her former best friend so that the Sinful Spoils will not hurt anyone else. It's not a happy life for her in the slightest

I think Witchcrafters could utilize this well with how similar they are, all the spells are good targets for the monster effects because they can add back if you control a Witchcrafter in End Phase, and the monsters often discard spells to activate effects, which triggers the White Wood Spells. I also think it is worth looking at Duality in this deck, though I think the only good targets I could find are Witchcrafter Vice-Madame, The Dark Magicians, Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, and Master of Chaos, though it's important to note that Red-Eyes doesn't get it's pop effect, and Master of Chaos doesn't get its reborn. Night's End Administrator could be useful in some matchups that are GY Heavy and it's effect is not once per turn.

If any thing I think the deck will benefit the most from Bystials because of Dis Pater. You can first make Baronne or Chaos Angel, then use 1 of your tuners grave effect to get another tuner, banish one of your lv.6s for a bystial, make Dis Pater, bring back the banished lv.6, and then you can either keep going or you can leave Rciela on field to play around Snake-Eyes and Fire King. With the Bystial engine you'll also have Regained which makes S:P Little Knight even better. With Cartesia you'll just have material and options for days. This deck has multiple interruptions, its Nibiru proof, and it combos for days.

If you have Diabellestar/Wanted and Tale of the White Forest seems pretty good. Actually, all the spells seem like a good discard for Diabellestar, some are better for going 1st and some are useful going 2nd

I love this archetype already. Beautiful artwork, I love the "monochrome" style, it's a new controly midrange deck that looks like it can play around Maxx "c", can splash the Sinful and Dogmatika packages AND looks like it's a spellcaster deck that cares about spells (not fully like Spellbooks or Withchrafters, but doesn't seems to have their big issues). I hope it becomes JUST good, not broken tier 1, but a decent option. On a side note, I can see this deck being as expensive as Snake eyes in MD (minus Bonfire) which kinda stinks.

This is the closest thing we'll ever get to a witchcrafter support, at least until the magistus stuff came out in the future (i hope) It might be too many discard to combine the deck together, but i think it could work if you only played all gas

Diabelle story lore and cards are continuing the ramping of Konami with these series based archetypes being absolutely broken. I just wish the duel terminal era archetypes could be revisited with this same intensity (mostly Zefra)
