Another excellent, detailed video. I'm anxious to hear what you think of the tru-powers after some use. I just installed mine this summer because my 420 turfs finally gave up the ghost so I stole the new Tru powers off my 430 to finish mowing for the season. I gotta say I'm not exactly a fan when it comes to mowing the lawn with the ags. I feel every lug as the tires roll along - lol. They are incredible in the garden while tilling though. I guess time will tell how they do in the snow this winter. I already bought new HDAP turfs and my past experience has been that turfs with chains are definitely hard to beat on snow and ice. Especially if you use tire weights and loaded tires. I'm also anxious to see how you like those front tires. I know a guy with an x model tractor and his has front wheel drive (or is it front wheel assist?) and he has those tires on the front and he LOVES them. He says they really help turning while plowing snow and plowing the garden. Plus they just plain look tough as nails - don't they? (insert Tim Allen grunts here -lol) I run the Tri Ribs on mine and they are the best tires I've ever run on the front. They don't ever plug up with snow or even mud while tilling. I've been very happy with them. Great video! Keep em comin!

We will see how the winter treats me. So far, nothing stops them in the woods, but don't try backing a up even the slightest incline on a piece of plywood without a running start. One thing I've found is that doing anything to these garden tractors isn't cheap. Not even suitcase weights. (The 42lb ones) I've been trying to keep an eye out at auctions but when you're looking for something, it's impossible to find. I may just have to suck it up and buy new ones.

Thanks for watching! Being completely honest, with these rear tires, it will 100% feel like a more bumpy ride than if you have turf tires. I've taken it on the county road in front of the property. On that hard pavement, it's not bad, but again not as smooth as turf. Also, it will leave indentations in your yard which is why I use the Husqvarna for mowing and the 430 for work in the trails, woods, and snow. Performance wise, there is absolutely MUCH more traction with these compared to turf. Also, the more weight you add, it will exponentially increase the effect. That's my experience with them. Carlisle TruPower II is the model if I remember. Not sure if I mentioned that on the video.

where did you get your tires and what size

The ones in this video were 26x12x12. They are the Titan TruPower II and I ordered mine online from otrusa website. Thanks for watching and commenting!
