The first one I got was a loose fit. A couple hiccups. But micheal made it right. He sent out new ones. They fit perfectly. He has it dialed in now. I totally recommend.

When I first got the KO I built my own riser out of cardboard duct tape and popsicle sticks. Awsomd.

I'm trying to decide which version to get. Can you say a bit more about the sliding version vs the magnet version? I've never used either, but I like the idea of a riser to keep the angle consistent. I'll mostly be doing kitchen and pocket knives. Thank you!
@SharperByMichael29 күн бұрын
@@youngrc212 we are wrapping up production of a new version slider riser. It meets right up to the belt and you can adjust exactly where you want it. I would recommend the sliding version - all new orders are being sent the updated version at no extra cost (video coming very soon). The stationary risers have a limited distance to the belt and wouldn’t be best for pocket knives. The sliding version comes with a wide base for long blades and a narrow base for most kitchen and pocket knives. Carbon fiber is heat resistant, stronger and overall a better unit.

@@SharperByMichael Sounds great. Thanks for the quick response. I'll order the sliding version right now. Thanks!

Are you going to make MK.2 rollers too? or ship some MK.2 rollers with the purchase like you did with the MK.1 risers? Big fan by the way. I bought both versions of the MK.1 risers because I liked them so much. I will be buying the MK.2 sliding risers.

@@SharperByMichaelJust wanted to provide an update. With your risers I finally been able to get blades sharp enough to shave the hair on my arm. I've never had that success before the riser. I could get them sharp but not hair popping sharp like I can now. The stability of the riser and the reduction of movement you have to make without them is the key difference. Thanks!

Great product. What negativity can they find in your product? You mention you had conversations that didn't go exactly how you expected. Probably people who freehand saying it best to have full control of the knife.
@SharperByMichael3 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yeah, you’re right!! Some people do like more freehand control. More orders means more things can and will go wrong from clogged nozzles, bad bed adhesion, shipping issues with products that may be arriving late or damaged during transport. All things that are part of a growing business, but there’s been a few who’ve hastily voiced their concerns online. In the end though, you can’t appeal to everyone! So I wanted to be sure I thanked those who are supporting me.

I just spent $249.00 + tax for the Mark II System and can't understand why W.S. didn't make provisions for this "Riser?" Having to spend an additional amt. of money for something so necessary? Hmmm...
