I recently learned this by looking at another player pulling it off. You can move much much faster if you dodge and change weapon or stow while running. This will completely remove that movement slow at the end of your dodge and make you continue running at the same speed out of dodge. Works with rapier dash into dodge. I only do this with light armor because its useless and doesnt work with anything but.

It still works with medium, but is only a small boost. Also sheath/unsheathing your weapon works instead of swapping. Swap spamming also depletes the durability of your weapons, so use it sparingly.

When you roll you and press x to draw your weapon and cancel the end animation where you stand still, roll then instant weapon swap with X(or whatever key is bound) and it will cancel the stopping animation of the roll at the end making you a lot faster. Also if you don’t let your stamina hit zero while using a dodge you don’t have to wait until it fills to 100 again making you able to dodge for frequently compared to waiting for the whole stamina bar to refill after you used it all with dodges

This is legit like the first video i;v come across on YT that shows me the real graphics of New World. I thought it looked really bad, probally also duo to YT compression, but now I find it looking pretty good. Is the gameplay recorded on the Highest settings?

Highest setting in 4k on a RTX 3080. I might have shadows down one notch, but I don't remember.

@@BoomstickGaming I don't understand how I was barely able to get 60 on low-mid with my 2080. I'll try to play with the settings a bit more. Amazing video, really going straight into the juicy parts and shows that this game actually has some depth. Thanks for top tier content.

@@shakyor875 Really? When I tested this I had well over 60 in most cases on a 1080ti. Your 2080 should have easily held up against that. Doesn't really matter to me though since I don't plan on playing this. I tested this when it was in early access on Steam, but a refunded it after seeing it's just simply not for me. I think FFXIV is more enjoyable at the moment. I just couldn't enjoy New World.

People who play new world, I don't think they respect themselves, or their time. The game is so bad, I'd do anything other than play it. Clean my house or play new world? Walk my dogs, or play new world? Do that thing I've been procrastinating on for weeks, or play new world? It's so bad of a game, when it play it, it makes me rethink my entire life. After playing it for a few hours, It's just so meaningless, so repetitive, so God damn boring, that I question why I have this hobby at all. If studios are just going to put out games that waste your time, why even play games at all? BUT BUT BUT, THE PVP: PvP Combat does NOT feel good, it's floaty, heavy attacks are useless. You can toggle pvp off, Nobody has it on, unless they are 30 levels higher than the zone, or running around ganking people in groups. The 50v50 pvp is a spammy, button clicking mess, that makes Dynasty Warriors, look like a realistic game. BUT BUT BUT, THE FACTION WARS: Faction imbalance on every damn server and one faction rules all the important zones so who even cares. BUT BUT BUT, THE SOUND: Yeah it's so cool how you can hear the hatchet in the distance as you cut down your wood. Enjoy your terrible tree cutting, ore gathering sim. BUT BUT BUT, THE CRAFTING: There's NO REASON to craft anything ever, because faction armor and drops are 100% better than what you make. You are actually WASTING your time with this game mechanic, just because you "enjoy" it. Should I even discuss the PvE or the quests/dungeons? The ONLY decent thing about this game is graphics/sound. If you enjoy PLAYING this game, there might be something seriously wrong with you. Like legitimately. Get help. I hate myself sure, but not enough to play new world. That's a whole level of masochism, that I don't understand.

Also one thing I like is that the game is not tab target and enemies don't have the hitbox of a house, you have to be precise with your attacks/shots so it kinda feels like Dark Souls when it comes to combat
