Were you using the infamous target system that I've been hearing bad things about? I didn't see much of it? Felt like you were trying to main your Musket shots. Or did AGS do a NEW update to the target system just recently? Either way, it didn't feel too cheap or anything. You were aiming there.

The problem with the targeting system is shots aren't hit scan so won't account for movement. It renders auto locking on mostly pointless unless your opponent is an NPC or someone without legs. It's the usual issue of something trivial getting blown out of proportion by youtubers.

@@Infernius Blunderbuss was an issue though. That thing is pretty much hitscan at such a short distance. Unless it actually is. Either way that shotgun was busted with target lock

If you dont aim you cant headshot and you fail shots if the enemy knows how to move.. there are just stupid people always complaining

@MohanABK I don't use it with my musket, I feel I aim better without it. But I have trouble turning it off with my rapier out cuz my muscle memory from playing TL got me used to it. Overall, the auto lock is more a hindrance than a strength. If you want to push out damage in pvp, don't use it because it locks your camera and ruins your awareness. Also, it auto locks to the torso instead of the head, causing a potential loss in dps against a melee player whose strength/dex spec max damage is embedded into their melee auto attacks

No, but you don't get many of the latest upgrades and new content :/ so you should buy it. (I have yet to buy it, too, but I will buy it soon)

You get everything except the angry earth area, mounts and flail without buying the angry earth DLC

If you want to open world pvp, it's a kinda a must to have a mount, so you have the option to pick and choose where and when to fight. Speed is everthing in open world pvp, unless you play with a group and not solo like me

I'm on PC but still new. Do you lose anything from your inventory/gear/money when you flag yourself for PvP and die?

@@NoviusInfernalBerserk no, the only thing you can lose is your progress on the pvp faction missions. If you die while out on a mission, you'll have to restart the mission. But you never drop and gear, consumables, weapons, etc

PC players have been playing for a lot longer so it is an uphill battle for console players on crossplay servers, but don't give up! There are plenty of bad PC players still lol. I am somewhere in the middle I think 🤣
