One note on GearSets that I want to add - I found it very worthwhile to purchase multiple gearsets, particularly for gathering. There is certain gear you find in the game that gives you bonuses for gathering. You can set up keybinds to swap basically for every node you gather. However - Gearsets currently are NOT linked to specific Stat loadouts. So if your points are in strength and you equip a mage set, you will still have those points in strength and it'll hurt your potential DPS. I'd love to see them link gearsets to a specific stat distribution.

I changed the L1+R1 ability to R3 and removed the lock on. I got frustrated that when i wanted to use that ability, it would use the L1 ability first. It was a lot smoother that way and honestly if i wanted to play a tap target mmo, there is a lot other options out there. Pls remove pvp lock on 😅

Nice informative video. 25:00 I gave AGS this Controller feedback on PC and during console betas. In controller custom mappings, give us the OPTION to ‘TAP A to jump, HOLD A to interact’. This frees up X (which is Interact) to map as we want. There are already other buttons that support TAP and HOLD on a single button.

just the fact that pvp target lock is not defined yet is aready good, i m not agaisnt aim assist, but you canot make a pvp system where the target lock or tab assist is better than a skilled players, aim assist need to ajust in a way that will not just lower the bar on the skill needed for pvp players, i love the game, and i realy hope the get to a mid way where every one can have fun with pvp

We console players just need aim assist! No target lock, wich just ruins the skillbased action combat. Especially in pvp, i dont wanna be forced to lock on my target to compete with others beeing forced, cause its op. Target lock is 10 steps back from where the combat was at release 21.

New World is a game that hooks you, but it could be so much more! The gameplay is fluid and the world feels alive, but the aesthetics and narrative still need polishing. The armor, especially for greatsword users, looks disproportionate, like a child is carrying a Norse warrior's blade. The story, while improving, lacks a more epic and dark tone, something that truly immerses us. Compared to the visual richness of games like Lineage 2 and Elder Scrolls Online, New World feels a bit childish. The game has immense potential, but it needs a bolder direction to truly stand out.

The sensitivity is garbage currently. Even at 100 is just so slow!! Need to add way more, at least double. I bet this is why the garbage Target lock exists... you cant even turn around fast enough 😂
