That’s because you can run a light chest / med pants + helm, gloves & foot (1 med, 2 light) - most optimal is med chest, rest light

i'll run tumblers once i gather a full shirking heals set from the pvp track, till then Featherweight is king, i use this same build but i use a spear with leeching cyclone, plagued crits and a shirking damage perk. i find spear gives me just a little more mobility with the stamina regain, i dodge way too often to play sns, id be exhausted 24/7 with how i've adjusted to spear play, great guide and lots of great information, definitely earned a sub from me. i also run 413 str, 100 dex 100 con, i sit at roughly 15k hp with 100 con thanks to health on all my armor and amulet, still rolling those gold trinket cases trying to pull a god roll, the jewellery on my server Phoenix EU is maaaad expensive, just to find a ring with Slash damage and hearty is like 7k for a 680gs, i can't bring myself to pay that for under 700gs

Run Barnacles for the Materia, there is a ring you can make at the Gypsum Kiln that gives you slash damage and hearty...

Like with many abilities in the game, leaping strike goes further when you have a target. As far as I can tell the heavy into leaping strike is only useful to go further when you are not targeting anything.

hey man great video! i got a question why no 300 strength in the 700 gear, u lose 10% backstab, but u gain 7% more dmg under 90% so only 3% damage lose if you hit the backs, but also way better scalings for both weapons

you have several builds that all look impressive, i was looking at a combination of spear/sns/hatchet and you got it! Is this one considered your strongest build compared to the spear/hatchet even or is it "a little" clickbaity? The shield does offer a ton of utility and you can tank in dungeons and get queues easier i guess. also, how would this work as a tank? (heavy armor and/or tower shield)

I was thinking the same thing, at the moment the only time i swap to hatchet is for its Defy Death perk and it can save you A LOT and the only reason why i dont run a great sword, def has gotten me out of a sticky pickle both in PVE and PVP.

So for the gloves, legs and feet, do you think it would be viable to just use the legendary 675 gear you get from the faction vendor? Every piece has enchanted ward/health/refreshing. Also wouldn't thrust ward be better than slash ward since the spear, rapier, bow and musket are all thrust damage? Just curious. I'm not really that good at PvP but I'm trying to get better.

675 faction gear is pretty expensive. I'd just use the doubloon gear or look on the trading post

If I farm the graverobber's hat for this build as a firestaff with INT gear, will it not drop due the loot biased system? I'm a new player as of the console release and loving the game. However, the loot biased system can be hard to understand. I read the article the developers put out on the topic, and it says named items are removed from the system, but I want to make sure I don’t farm endlessly waiting for a drop that never comes.

Also you cannont farm these pieces of gear to upgrade as it would cost you 30k gold each in order to do it. So for pre bis you're looking at roughly 120k gold just to get the build going. Completely unreasonable.

It will take a while because its AGS, but when it happens, it's gonna get hit hard. It's not worth it to invest in a 725 build just for it IMO.
