New World and AGS have deleted 100's if not 1,000's of bots

Bots have killed this game. For a long time it was necessary to ban bots forever, and not for a week.

Ive seen bots around, but ive never seen it as bad as seeing groups of them running the identical route

yeah it's not hard to see whenever bots are being pumped into the game by how quickly the prices drop for basic mats. im 50/50 on bots, on the one hand they can ruin the game by flooding markets and undercutting and making coin way harder to get but on the other hand they can also sometimes help keep certain mats from being overpriced to the point of being ridiculous. especially since New World does have a population problem with certain servers dying and having some bots might help keep certain things a bit stable. obviously bots are against TOS so i do support banning them but you can't argue that they can have some benefits in certain scenarios at least within the specific scenarios of dying servers. then it becomes a question of what came first, the chicken or the egg? are servers dying BECAUSE of excess of bots, or are servers dying and then bots move in because they see an opportunity for easy coin as no one is farming the lower tier mats anymore? i think there's good arguments for both sides of this, but i think we can all agree that New World has other issues they gotta really focus on (bugs/cheaters/desync/QoL/crafting rng/dupes/exploits) before they go full crackdown on bots, assuming that this takes away dev resources that they could be putting into other things.

A lot of solid points but I definitely agree that bots should be taken care of and make sure they aren’t ruining the game but it definitely isn’t the priority right now either I would say servers are shrinking for multiple reasons but bots could have an affect on it along with other things like exploits cheaters and lack of content

Fibers , Iron Ore go up from 0,12 to 0,60 each on my server , bots destroy the game

Green wood on fresh start sometimes went down to 0.02. I was making tens of thousands per day by buying green wood for 0.02-0.05 and selling timber for 0.3-0.4 lmao

I'm regularly selling lumber for 1.4 to 1.5. I bought 30000 aged wood at .16 each. Now I just farm green wood and turn it all into lumber.

How do you know they banned bots lmfao, this video is just you thinking of something. You have no evidence of anything. Your server prob had a guy botting all servers are different bud.

Fair enough the only proof I have is the market returning to normal and area where the bots were is now empty and has stayed empty for a few days but you could very well be right but hopefully they have been banned and not turned off by whoever runs them

@@fojo618 Yesterday I came to the same conclusion that there could have been a ban wave because of Iron Ore on my server (Artorius - FS/SA) having gone up from 0.3 to 0.8

My server is plagued not only with bots but gold sellers doing nothing but chest runs 24/7. Items like Lucky Dice, squirming vines, and ancient mandibles are steadily losing value.

I have also seen the trophy mat value dropping as well but I think that at this point in the game they are less needed and a good amount of people may already have all the trophies they need so I think the price will inevitably continue to go down. It would be nice if they added something you could add to your trophy or something in order to make it stronger or have additional benefits and then maybe we could have something new to farm for that would hold value for a while as well

Bots lowkey good for the game. They do unskilled non desirable tasks for us while we go out and do the fun skilled tasks. They raise the supply in the market making prices go down making things you buy also cheaper.
