New World Build: Insane Mage Fire/Axe Build For PvE & PvP! (Season 3 Guide)

This New World guide will show you the best Season 3 fire staff build. Im using this with thew new Abyss artifact great axe and its insane. This is nearly BiS and I'm nearly at 700gs with this New World build. Give this build a try in OPR it's amazing and has great damage with high HP.

Just so you know before I get told again I'm not cool for not using fire harnessing.... It can be a waste of time, don't just run it to be cool. I actually test things and for this build the % was not worth it as it was much lower than 2% because of diminishing returns. The more damage you try stack the less effective it becomes. I would rather have a defensive perk than fire harnessing. You are literally wasting optimization trying to stack so much with fire harnessing, rune glasses etc.

Health perk on my server is....42k????? yeah I'm just not level of moneymaker (just got back into game after gone for more than a year). I got Abyss though! So as a cheaper alternative...what perk would you put on Featherweight? I was gonna do Accelerating Flamethrower.

Couple questions. Do you find keen on fire staff or ring is more needed? It will lock away fire damage on ring. Do you think t2 gem in weapons is better than runeglass? I tried to do some testing and it seems like ticking runeglass always does more damage but I’ve been told otherwise.

Does Blooddrinker Artifact RING (from Mutated Starstone) still heal off of persistant DoT damage on Live? Was OP for a minute there.

I thought Shirking heals was more avaluable than +health? Maybe it only works well if you are really good at dodgning attacks and doesn't generate much value for most?

Depends on play style really, I plan to eventually have another set with mostly shirking heals for more aggressive up close fighting.

Hey nice video ! about your ring, did you craft it ?? because i am 250 jewelcrafting and its impossible for me to put FIRE DMG / HEARTY on a ring :( dunno why. Can you explain if i am wrong ?

I think I put the other two perks on and hearty rolled randomly. There is a bug where rings are earrings and earrings are rings in the pictures. A bit hard to explain. I might do a video tonight on it.

I already do enough damage. Rather other perks. Health for example is 2.4% rather than the 2% damage. So for me its better to put health on and have room for another perk and just put less points into CON and more into damage to make up for it.

Shrinking is not worth any more healing hearth and stoneform is more afective btw. For your gear set up i would take elemental rez you´r right about diminshing returns we always had it with the exeption for just int and dex but they wheir broken at that time same with str back when tempest came you could heasy hit for 23k+ with ga on elits in myrkgard the priest was so easy they almost died dir but again it´s because it was broken. But with that am not so happy that balanshing happning live they castrate anch the life steal was not that huge but the 5 sec on shrinking heals and all togather it was really op but people already figuered this out in the ptr so why not shange it their before live why let it go live it was not hard to se some things was just to damn op and now it´s a mess of gear and builds most of the 5k+ player i know have quit ore just chilling hopping things would add up at some point i feal almost alone doing some daylies and logging out have 3 accounts and 9 65s. And they keep letting us abuse the fact you can like a solo company own 90% of the map by just having your alt on the other faction and taking over and 3th you just use for blocking races. Most exploited game i played last 20 year´s i know 10 ways to make it fair and it´s easy but they never do it it´s like they milking the game and use it like a test platform for a future mmo. Feel sad for all new players if they only knew how small this game really are at the end and only favor 1-5% of the player base people like me but we are geting bored to so in the end it hurts all.

For pvp i agree but for pve you cant beat the damage output of a melee weapon

Only your ring is BIS. You don’t even have fire harnessing on any gear.

Fire harnessing is useless i've tested it, it only actually gives you about 1.3% damage increase on this build because of diminishing returns. The more damage you have the more diminishing returns you have. Much better to use defensive perks. I actually test things lol, you can't just stack as much damage as you want in the game without some sort of consequence.
