In order to make back the 65k purchase price to get 6% more cooking output means someone would have to make $1,083,333.33 in sold. Only on the NEXT gold after that would the purchaser come out ahead.

The more they update the game the more the devs lose the vision for gear and progression. 675 patterns from event , WHO would need that If you get 700? If you can't prismatic it to 700 its called a trash

Not only that but you will get 700 gear on day one of the expansion. I am not opposed to fast progression but they basically made a bunch of pointless gear drops again. If it's not 690+ or even 700 it will be trash.

You don't need to buy the Replica Syndicate or whatever your faction is for skin. You get 1 token for free every week (doing dungeons/chests runs), you buy the cheapest armor on the faction vendor and use the token to use it like a skin. Don't waste your gold or your faction tokens on that you will need it in the next expansion.

or youcan just buy the armor for 7.5k/5k each. the tmog token is more valuable than 5k gold lmao. faction token ridiculously easy to get 30k/day 5 minute loop around brimstone

If you have extra crafting bonus you can reduce mats and reduce cost a lot, for example if you have extra +10 bonus you can literally reduce two prismatic mats to normal asmo, phoenix etc..

It didn't work like this on ptr, you couldn't get to 700gs without the new mats for some reason, might be bugged

​@@jayoddityit does work if you have MD fort. I made multiple 700gs amulets using prismatic chain and ingots, but asmo settings. The ingots have to be prismatic. I haven't tried it on every profession but it is working

I really hope they don't make faction specific tradeskill buffs. I'm glad that I'm currently covenant, but having to switch to get the arcana gear would be a bummer, especially if there is a long cooldown for switching factions. However, if they ever change it so you can earn rep for other factions without needing to switch, I think that'd be pretty cool and a much better system.

I've been testing the crafting in PTR. The bonus craft is only symbolic. Let me explain the craft after PTR, there is no range, you either craft 675(legend) or 700(max GS). The faction bonus gives you 3GS bonus to the 675 craft, so you get 678 (it's cool but not much stronger), and if you do end game craft, it's also capped at 700GS

I don't think the syndicate specs is a scam, because by getting more, you can replace some of the prismatic materials with current cooldown ones and still hit 700

isnt normal gear just +2 craft skill & the jwly is +5, so those +5 sets are very good.. but why tie them behind factions ? and 65k each ? thats absurd and beyond workable with other costs that come in the expansion gearing... idk how to make that sort of money regular, i need mats for me, not to sell.. So you change faction to get all the gear but then cant get back in to original if they're the biggest on server.. nice..

Biggest scam in the faction trader is still the ultimate trophies, for a quality of life perk I don't believe it's worth 405000 gold this drastically needs to be reduced to like 10k each or something 100k for quality of life is acceptable but nearly gold cap? Na scamazon give it up.

I think its too easy to get 700 gear unless named item drops are super rare. It it was a slower process to get to get 700 it wouldnt completely invalidate this gear.

Yep. Testers were 700 day one of PTR. 600 to 690 will be mostly pointless.

@@heartless_gamer yeah was kinda hoping the journey to 700 would mean more. It's fun working towards an end goal with multiple upgrade points along the way. I get they needed to get rid of watermark/expertise but there could have been a way to slow it down a bit better. After a few elite chest zergs with 50 people and the whole server will be 700. Would have more interesting to have the faction gear be named items that could be upgraded with some special perk or something.

@@brydiginte6552 eh as an its MMO I think you should have to do some of the actual world content to better your character. I don't think a player who does nothing but queues OPR should be able to compete. I agree there should be some nice PvP options for gear but you should need to do both.

Get some sleep Jay! Its not only the Expansion Faction Vendor. ALL DLC is a scam. 2 years playing this game and now AGS removes endgame content from players. It's so bad that i dont get it why players are excited for a 4 hour content disguised as a Expansion And since DLC is purchased via steam, i bet within 15 min of chaos it will be when launch, most wise players will refund that piece of 30 euros scam.
